Country Bear Jamboree

Ooh, this memory is from back in 2001 again when we went with my grandparents and uncle. Wow, I have a lot of memories from that! This is one of my grandpa's favorite things to do, so we headed over there. We got inside the theater and saw that it was decorated for Christmas! The guys on the wall even had Christmas lights on their antlers or necks. Well, I guess we got so into the show because pretty soon we were clapping along with the songs and singing when they had the words on the screen. We were just laughing and having a great time. I'm sure other people in the show with us thought we were crazy.

I don't really have any memories from the Country Bears. I know we did it on one of our first trips because we've got some home video of it but haven't done it since then. It's been quite a while!

I love the Country Bears! We have almost the whole show on tape from our trip in '92 and I'd always watch it, so it was fun seeing it in 2005 and recognizing all the parts we had on tape!

CBJ ~ I love this. This is the one thing I completely remember from my very first trip to Disney in 1982. I never forgot how the one bear falls from the ceiling. Even to this day I find that show entertaining and funny. I'll probably skip it next time but the past two trips we really enjoyed it. I actually have some GREAT pics of it coming up in my trip report. My favorite is the three girl bears in the blue dresses and bonnets singing about a man...

ANYWAYS, I've never done Country Bear Jamboree but you made it sound fun! Belle wanted to do it but it was like 15 minutes until the next show so we left to grab a snack before coming back. Then I don't know what happened cuz we never went back!

Haha, it is a pretty fun show. Some people need to lighten up. I've seen so many people walking out of it in disgust.

She's got high apple pie in the sky hopes" song in my head.. I thought of it because I said I have high hopes to get my paper done early.. and all of a sudden it stuck.. and I thought.. where did this come from. .and I couldn't for the life of me remember what its from either.. I even tried googling.. no such luck.. but after I did that I thought.. ohh silly songs. hehe

I loved Country Bears as a young girl, now I think it's just funny.
Lexi (DD) likes it, so we watch it for her. She loved the movie when it came out and had all the toys.

I have to confess, the last time we were there in '07, Aaron (DS) told Lexi that Country Bears was closed....I didn't correct him..........what a bad Mommy I am....

I remember the first time that we saw this show, I was amazed at the animatronics. Also, if anyone has seen the behind the scenes WDW shows on the Travel Channel, one of them shows how they were made. So cool! I can't wait to see how Pres.Obama looks.
