we're off to London for a couple of days before heading to dlp Thursday :cool1:

I'm attempting to pack tonight, doing a very bad job lol The weather forecast is rain and lots of it so I'm taking more than I'd like to just in case we end up soaked with no facility to dry clothes.

Loose dining plan is now, Cafe mickey - Thursday, Walts - Friday, Blue Lagoon - Saturday and Annettes - Sunday. was hoping to try some different restaurants but have ended up doing the same again :lmao:

Couple of last questions, OUAD has no stops in it for christmas is that right? Fantillusion, how long does it last? is there anything going on this weekend as it looks like emh in both parks on the Saturday?

x

Soo not looking fwd to the rain!..
Been to a few shops today looking for a rain-mac for dd but to no avail!..
Sorry to hijack your post tinker but does anyone know if they do those waterproof poncho things in the park?
Im all packed and resting tmrw as its my bday! Yay!
See you there tinker!..sooo excited! :)

I'm not sure what you mean by stops, but the end of the OUAD parade is Christmas.

They do sell the waterproof ponchos in the parks, and they had them at the Kyriad shop so I'm assuming that they would at all the hotels. I can't remember how much they were for sure but thinking around 15E?

Hope you both have a great trip. :goodvibes

Crazykk have you looked in lidl/aldi they often have ponchos or waterproofs with the sports wear, sports direct and home bargains too as 15 euros for that kind of poncho seems steep. I'm trying not to let the rain dampen my spirit but in truth I want to cry ahhhh well lets hope its wrong or at least light rain x

Although not cheap the Disney ponchos are readily available throughout the parks, light but strong enough to last for future trips and come in child and adult sizes. So if you don't manage to find anything beforehand don't panic!

In my experience it is footwear that makes the difference if it rains. The paved areas never seem to drain that quickly and really wellies are best if you can bear to pack them. Again they are for sale in the park but very expensive. Wellies and a spare pair of shoes to change into if you do get caught out are the best insurance as spending all day in cold, wet shoes is no fun.

Have a fantastic time!! :wizard: :wizard:

They really do last ::yes:: my parents used theirs for WDW and DL then gave them to DH and I. We got 7 trips out of them before having to replace them on our 8th.

Getting super excited now :woohoo:

Crazykk - the lovely wmoon text me earlier to say it's all magical not too busy at the moment but chilly thermal weather :goodvibes

Just another eurostar question (I know it's been asked lots before) are there any restrictions on what you can take on the eurostar in terms of sealed juices, wine etc??

We're on the eurostar passing ashford, for our first impression of eurostar it's been so easy. Had a fab day in London yesterday. So excited even though the weather looks rubbish, we're going to disney :goodvibes

Thanks for everyone's advice as always and sharing our excitement, brought a stash of mini wine bottles, is 10:30 too early to crack one open :rolleyes1
