So I called yesterday and made the PS for the honeymoon in Jan.

What do people think? We only have planned dinners, other meals we play by ear usually.

<table border=1><tr><th>Day</th><th>Place</th><th>Time</th></TR><tr><td>Sun - arrival driving around 6-7pm</td><td>Big City River Grill</td><td>when we get there :)</td></TR><tr><td>Mon</td><td>Boma</td><td>7pm</td></TR><tr><td>Tue</td><td>Boatwright's</td><td>7pm</td></TR><tr><td>Wed</td><td>HoopDeDoo</td><td>7:15pm</td></TR><tr><td>Thr</td><td>'Ohana</td><td>6:40pm</td></TR><tr><td>Fri - leaving Saturday morning for drive back to NY</td><td>Whispering Canyon</td><td>6:50pm</td></TR></table>

We are staying at VWL so that is why we picked Whispering Canyon for the last night. So we can eat, and then walk back and get packed to leave.

The only one we have been to is 'Ohana last year. I had a couple beers at Big City a few years ago while at WDW for a trade show.

Thanks for any coments on these palces.

Mike

I'd be tempted to skip WC and go to Artist's Point. Especially on the last night of a honeymoon. Much more romantic. (Better Food, too)

I agree. You'll get enough of the "antics" at O'hana and Hoop De Doo. Might be nice to have a somewhat quiet dinner on your last nite.
Any favorite beer at Big River?? I just love the "Wowzer's Wheat". And the grilled meatloaf is excellent!!
At Boatwright's try a Dixie Blackened Voodo beer. Most excellent!!

I had the same thought of switching your Whispering Canyon for Artist Point. I think it will be a wonderful last meal on your honeymoon. You'll be able to talk about the great week while sipping wine and enjoying an outstanding meal. We love Artist Point and for a honeymoon I think it would be an excellent choice!

I haven't done the others, but our family usually winds up at Boatwrights once a trip. Some times because we are at PO or just because we like it.

I really like the garlic cheese bites. They have an interesting light, batter on them, different from normal mozzerella sticks. I also think that the bread that they give you to start the meal is the freshest bread I have had at any of the resorts. We usually have good service, and the wait staff is great.

Just returned from AKL and I would recommend JIKO over Boma any day! I was quieter, the atmosphere was very romantic and the food was ten times better!!!!! Take some time to walk around the lodge. It is sooo beautiful!!!! Jiko is now our favorite restaurant at WDW!!!

I agree with the others, Artist Pointe instead of WC. Tell them you are on your honeymoon when you make your PS and they may bring you a small cake to celebrate after your meal. They did for us when we celebrated our 25th anniversary there. We have dined there three times and have not had a bad meal. Also, when you arrive ask for a table by the windows, if available.

Let me offer you "Congratulations!" on your upcoming marriage and good luck!! :)

OK OK Enough already ;) :)

I discussed it with my fiance and since Artist Pointe was one of the restaurants on our list, we decided to switch. We will try Whispering Canyon next year when down with family.

And the hotel reservation and the PSs all have made note it is our honeymoon.

Thanks,
Mike

You'll love AP!

Cogratulations to you and your fiancee. Best wishes on your upcoming marriage and have a blast on your honeymoon!!!
