I feel exactly the same way about Chef Mickey's... its the character interaction you're after, not the food!

Perhaps dinner feels a little more relaxed than breakfast?

We had a better experience at dinner.....looks like you did too!!

Sounds like you had a fun dinner! We've only done breakfast at CM we always thought it was good. This year were trying crystal palace for the first time. Maddie looks so cute in her dance outfit!

NICE UPDATE!!! For a second, I thought u meant you had a 7:15am ADR and was like hm..what lol. I got it after that lol. My friends and I ate at CM when we were on the CP. Last year when we had our discount coupons, that was one of the meals we chose and had a late 8pm ADR but it was totally worth it and we had a blast!!!

This was our second time eating there and we had a great time both times

I love that first picture you got of the Grand Floridian! Looks like you had a fun time at Chef Mickey's.

I bet the dance recital was adorable!

I thought the picture turned out cool too. The dance recital was so cute - I just love it!

Looks great! I really want to try Chef Mickey's - almost everyone who went to it sounded like they loved it - sometimes it seems a little off, but it really is about the characters.

It's certainly worth a try.

Can't wait to hear about AK!

We haven't tried breakfast there. I like the early ADR at CP too much to do Chef Mickey's for breakfast. We have enjoyed both our dinners there though.

She loved her costume also, it does look a bit like Tink.

Thanks Our only other time there was in the middle of the remodel, so I don't really know what it was like before. It looks really nice now, I think.

It's funny, I spend so much time reading other trip reports, I neglect my own It's less thinking to read others' though Anyway - we were out of town at a waterpark last weekend and it was my birthday - so I hope to get a little report about that up and then get my next update up later this week. Tomorrow is all about girl scout cookies. Maddie sold 126 boxes and I have to get them sorted tomorrow It was fun when we were selling - but now the work begins

Our next morning started with a 7:30am wake-up call. We got up and ate cereal in the room. Our destination this day was Animal Kingdom. The plan was to spend the day there, not to come back for a break, since the park closed at 5:00pm. We caught the AK bus around 8:45 and arrived at Animal Kingdom by 9:10.

Our first stop was photopass pictures:

We started to head towards the Safari, when we encountered some friends:

After meeting Lilo and Stitch – we headed to the Safari. It was another foggy morning:

It worked out well because I was on one side of the vehicle and SIL was on the other – so we got different pictures, here are some highlights:

After the Safari we headed to Camp Minnie and Mickey:

We skipped Mickey (since we had seen him a few times already) and met with Thumper and Miss Bunny:

From here we headed to Festival of the Lion King. I am currently uploading some video I took, so I will do the next installment after that uploads.
