Hey Guys!

This is where we ate and what we thought:

All the "fast food" style food was good and it will fill you up, so I won't waste your time with those reviews.

Magic Kingdom:

Cindy's for Breakfast: Mmmm...so good. Loved the whole thing! Would do it again when I have children. I've done it once, so I'm satisfied now. I'd eat there again, but no more 6am phone calls to WDW-DINE. :D

Casey's Corner: Dogs ballpark style. Nothing fancy, just a good old hot dog.

Liberty Tree Tavern: This was my favorite meal. We had dinner here right before MVMCP and it was great! Turkey was very tender, the beef was GREAT and I don't even eat beef! I'm a Mac-and-Cheese kinda girl, but I passed on this one. But the mashed potatoes were great! I didn't eat the rest of what they offered because I'm so picky, but the rest of our party did and they agreed best meal all week.

Epcot:

San Angel Inn: :crazy2: :crazy2: UGH! The worst mexican food I have ever put in my mouth! :crazy2:. I'm pretty sure it's because I'm from Texas home of the BEST mexican food in the world! But geez! I can only imagine how bad it gets the further you travel! Skip it! You won't miss a thing!

MGM:

50's Prime Time Cafe: Gotta love this place! Our waiter had the whole restaurant singing to my mom "you are a whinny girl, you are a whinny girl" because she asked for more water.:teeth: SO funny! I had cheese fries because I wasn't that hungry. Others at our table had Pot Roast, Fried Chicken, and the Turkey Sandwich and they seemed to like it.

Animal Kingdom:

Flame Tree BBQ: Oooo! Didn't realize what a big fan of cheese fries I was until I ate some of there's! I love seasoned fries, so if you do...this is your place to go!

DTD:

Cap'n Jacks: Our last night at Disney. Everyone loved it! This is the place to be!

I'm sure I missed a bunch of little places that we got snacks or sweets at...but you get the idea.

Sorry to hear about San Angel Inn.... I was going to try this one on my next trip. Maybe it will be better for lunch!!
:sunny:

i agree w/you on san angel inn! we knew going in it was not tex-mex, but ugh!! have not been back in about 5 years!

I agree with you on San Angel Inn - worst Mexican food I've eaten in a loooooong time! (We lived in Texas for a couple years and love Tex-mex as well!) I won't go back to San Angel Inn -- there are so many other great places to eat at Epcot! BTW, aren't the lunch and dinner menus the same here?

We LOVED LTT as well! My DH and DS say they have the best mashed potatoes at WDW!

Glad to read your great reviews. It was nice to see a review of Cap'n Jacks, as you never see reviews for this restaurant. Do you remember what you had ?

I am a very very picky eater. So I opted for the Roast Chicken with no extra stuff on top. It was to die for. Everyone at our table agreed that it was a great meal! Others at my table got the Steak, and one person got some sort of fish that he was also very happy with.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing! I get a craving for fries once in awhile maybe I'll have to give it a try!!!

Thanks for the reviews. We ate at San Angel Inn in '83 or '85 and never went back. I think people outside of TX like it, but it's tooooooo different from the Mexican food we eat here.

I must be the only person who actually likes the San Angel Inn, LOL! It definitely beats the Mexican food that we get here in New England:hyper:

We ate at San Angel Inn last week and we HATED it! Now my DS 11 and DH are both fans of Mexican food, and I'm very adventurous eater, I will try ALMOST everything. However what they served us there was just AWFUL! It had funny odor to it and we all just filled up on chips and salsa (which wore quite good). We opted to just paying the $60  (lunch) check and leaving, chucking this one as lessen learned. IMHO $60 plus tip for three adult meals and one child meal with a round of waters and a soda is too much.
So I must say Chrissyk that in that regards not all of us New Englanders will give San Angel Inn a good review. ;)
