Our first WDW trip through MAW

I have to agree with what Palpluto said about going to Universal/ IOA. We had a great day split between the two parks. Shrek Rocks! Talking to Donkey around the corner was a real highlight. E.T. is great fun. We did Men in Black twice. At IOA Spiderman was a fun ride and an awesome character greet. If you want more thrills, see Jurassic Park, the Ride. Seuss Landing is wonderful for younger kids. We got a LOT of free character greet portraits at the parks. The folks at I.O.A. were VERY hospitable, almost up to Disney standards.

Bill--what's a "World Passport Trip"...is this something provided by an organization or something that can be booked and paid for?---Kathy

Guests at Give Kids the World Village are given a World Passport after they leave. I allows those on the wish trip to have one-time admissions to a wide variety of theme parks around the world (if you can get to them) for the 12 month period following the wish trip. It is sort of a way to extend the wish trip. The parks tend to be a bit secretive about this for some reason. GKTW likes to leave it as a surprise for the family.

We have 2 parks in our area, one near Seattle and one in northern Idaho that participate in the program. We will get to visit both of these parks this summer. WOOHOO!

Bill, I hope you don't mind, but I added your MAW trip report to the disABILITIES FAQs links about Wish trips.
I had read it a long time ago, enjoyed it greatly and wanted to ask about adding it. But, Moderating being an unpaid part time job, real life got in the way and I forgot about doing it until now.
