Today was a Shopping day.
Drove to The Mall at Millenia I wanted to get new lingerie from Victoria's Secret and Dave is looking for new shoes. I got lingerie but Dave couldn't find any shoes. He wants runners and or hiking boots with flashing lights on them - you know like the kids shows have! Do they even exist in adult sizes?
Ooh we spotted a Krispy Kreme. So we stopped for coffee and doughnuts - what a healthy breakfast!
Then we went to hit the outlet stores. We happened on Bass Outdoor World. Okay now DH is in heaven, 5 acres of outdoor store. He tried on a bunch of clothes but ended up only buying one pair of shorts. We did however take away a brochure with their website on it so he could order more when we got home (and he did). We looked at Red Rider BB Guns (from the movie A Christmas Story) but we didn't think customs would appreciate it, so we left it behind.
Other stores we stopped at Ron Jon's Surf Shop, bought a stubby cooler, 2 disney stores, bought nothing, can you believe it?
At the Premium Outlet Mall right near WDW we bought sandals for me and Shoes for Dave, but just regular shoes we couldn't find any with blinky lights.
We had dinner at McDonalds - had a big sign out front saying it was voted 2nd best McDonalds. We liked the selections - salads, pizzas, sandwiches and regular McDonalds stuff but service was lousy.
Back to the resort, drop of our mall shopping stuff, why won't they deliver? Relaxed and napped for a little.
Our bit of Disney for the day we played the Fantasia Mini Golf. Normally DH beats me at but I won despite getting my ball stuck in the last obstacle, the Sorcerer Mickey. It was quite amusing - DH had to climb over the chain and reach up and round the "hill" to get my ball which was just sitting there, resting against the concrete edge.
One last stop at Downtown Disney to do some gift shopping at World of Disney, and Days of Christmas. We shared an icecream sundae at Ghiradellis, it was very crowded and we had to wait for a table inside, it was too cold to eat outside.
Back to the resort. Our last night at Disney World.
