Our first trip to Disney report..

A Success!!! This couldn't have happened without all of you wise and generous people!! We arrrived on the 6th at our hotel, Holiday Inn Family Suites. It was an awesome hotel and the service was great! We did the ice cream social and while it was nice, I was a bit disappoined, the character interaction was limited and they said they no longer did the rehitching ceremony. It was still nice though. Just a note about car rentals though, I was lucky enough to find a good deal before we left just in case we decided to get one. It was a good thing, we heard from quite a few people that they couldn't find a rental car anywhere in Orlando and one company that did have some were charging $89/day for midsize car. The parks were a little more crowded than I thought, but I figured a lot of people had switched their dates because of all the hurricanes. We went to the hallowe'en party and boy was it busy!! It was still pretty fun though! My son got one of those magical moments certificates that I'd heard about for his bday and was very excited! Everyone was so friendly down there! The weather was awesome!!! Originally, we weren't going to go back until my other son turned 5, but I think we've got the bug and we're thinking about next year, especially since the hotel we stayed at will then be a Nicklodean holiday inn with characters and all. It sounds VERY cool! We left on the 10th and were very sad. If anyone has any questions, please email me. Again, I'd just like to thank everyone for all the tips(both money-saving and otherwise), my hubby was very impressed with my planning abilities!! Now I have to start planning next year's trip!!
