Our first ten day trip ...

This will be our first ten day trip, and our first time flying, (in a long time,)

We usually stay for 8 days, well actually 7 because since we drove we would leave at 12 noon and not do anything the last day, even though we still had a day left on our tickets...

Anyway what are the pros (how could there not be) and cons (if any) for a ten day trip. Keep in mind we have been to WDW plenty of times!

Also, I'm sure you guys get this question a lot. But how is that magic express? thing that takes your bags to your room wihtout you even touching them. Does it work most of the time, is it a hassel?

Get to be at WDW for 10 Days!!!!!

Con's

Lots of Clothes to Bring (Unless your going to wash them)
Lots of $$$$ at once

Personally, I would rather do 2 5 day trips then 1 10 day, but either way, have a good time!!!

We just did a 12 day trip in March, the first time in 15 years. Because of work and schedules we couldn't get 2 weeks together for that long. It was wonderful!!! I had forgotten how relaxed you can get. Hoping we don't have to wait that long again.

We leave in 7 days for our 2nd 10 day trip, and we would never go for less! There is nothing more frustrating than leaving a vacation when you want just one more day. With 10 days, you feel it is time to go home. There are no cons-you can never have too much fun 10-11 days in a row!

We LOVE the longer trips. Yes, more money at one time (vs 2 five day trips), but you save airfare

A BIG "pro" is that a long trip REALLY gives you the time to unwind and actually forget that you live somewhere else.

I also REALLY enjoy being able to take our time on our trip and still feel like we did everything we wanted to at least once!!!

We also like to use some time for DisneyQuest, downtown disney, and the water parks. By having so many days down there, I don't feel like we're "trading" park time for doing this.

Pro - it makes me feel like I'm getting my moneys worth from our PAPs.

You can actually take time to check out the resorts that you'd be interested in for your next vacation.

Con - and this is the ONLY one I can think of....
It's hard to leave our dog for that long.

This sounds like a "top ten" list of sorts.

DS13 & I are going for our first mother/son WDW vacation 5wks from tomorrow! (We usually have DH and sometimes MIL w/us)
And its our first ever 14night vacation!
We would never be able to do this during the school yr
