Our first "Support Our Troops Rally" *Pics* UPDATE-We made the news, sort of!

Ashli and I went to our first "Support Our Troops Rally" today and it got rained out! We got to the rally about 30 minutes after it started (had a two hour drive and got a late start) and we were only there about 45 minutes at the most before it started raining. But it was fun while it lasted. Ashli made posters at home and somehow talked me into letting her take our dog with us. We took several pics to email to Titus. Overall it was a really fun day and I'm glad we went even if the rally didn't last too long. We did some shopping around Ft. Campbell afterwards but we weren't able to find Ashli the tiny "I love my soldier" pin that we were on the lookout for. She had to make due with an army hoddie and an insigna pin like one of Titus'.

UPDATE: The rally made the evening news. Ashli told me afterwards that she saw them filming her tying the signs on Shadow so we thought she might be on the news. Well, I have had a blast teasing poor Ashli to no end because they edited her out of the tape and just showed our dog Shadow! LOL, Shadow's famous!

I bet the pictures will be a joy to Titus! I am golad the two of you (and the dog) were able to spend some time together. Too bad she could not find the pin she wanted. Is there anyone who might be able to help her find it?

Hey Carol,
The pin we are looking for is really, really tiny. A girl at Goodys had one on that said "I (heart) my marine" and Ashli wants to find one like it that says "I (heart) my soldier". The girl said she found hers near Ft. Campbell and that they had the soldier ones too but we hunted and didn't have any luck searching the shops saturday. If anyone does know where we can find this pin please email me, it would be great to find one.
