...and I have a question. We'll be arriving in less than two weeks (BLT). What kinds of things will not be in the room (vs the typical WDW hotel room)?

Well, if you don't charge anything to the room you won't get a bill hanging on your door knob on the morning you leave.

And you won't get clean towels every day, nor will you get daily full cleaning unless you pay for it. And that also means you won't get any more shampoo/soap/etc except for service days. So bring some from home.

Unless you are in an OKW studio or dedicated two bedroom villa (except for BWV), you won't get two queen beds in one room.

Other than that, I'm not sure what you mean.

I don't think you will find your room will be lacking anything a typical resort room would have. You will just have the benefit of having extra things depending on what type of villa you are staying in. All the traditional room amenities are there...iron, hair dryer...etc, if that's what you mean.

Deb mentioned not having the everyday Mousekeeping service and I remember it being a little uncertain for us the 1st trip, thinking we might not want it that way. Once we got used to it, we liked it better.

the studio will have a kitchennett - with wet bar, microwave, toaster, under the counter refrigerator (instead of one those tiny things) plastic plates, bowls, yorks, spoon, knives - 2 mugs and 4 to 2 glasses

now studio at BLT are small - they took away living space for the bathroom. (not to mention the 1-bedroom next door)

it is definitely about half the size of the CR's room.
