***Extreme caution*** I have been known to ramble, and run off on tangents, so this trip report may cause sleepiness, confusion, and on rare occasions, gas. :rotfl2:
Now, with the disclaimer safely in place, I will start my first trip report. I am having flashbacks to when I was a child in school, having to write what I did on summer vacation! My palms are sweating and I don't know how to begin.
The players in this are: DH, me, DS7,DD7,DD7. It all started with a frantic mom running around the house on Halloween day, making sure all the clothes, snacks, tickets, etc ready for the long car ride from Arizona to the "Happiest place on Earth". DH and I offered the kids the option of getting a new costume, or wearing their old one, and getting the $$$ for a new toy! Luckily, all three jumped at getting $$ to spend at the Lego store in Downtown Disney! Racing to get the rental car, the dog at the doggie hotel, and the kids ready to go Trick or Treating, we discovered the Venom costume was too short for DS7 who has grown taller, so... on with daddy's black socks! LOL
Hoping to get a bit of sleep before we get up was just a thought. The triplets decided we should just stay up and get on the road! So, once daddy woke up from a nap, we got loaded into the car and we were headed to Disneyland! We arrived at Paradise Pier Hotel around 5:30...Arizona time, and everyone knows this past Sunday was daylight savings time! So, we were there at 4:30 am! LOL We were given a room immediately, along with balloons and buttons celebrating the triplets 1st visit, and me hitting 17 years cancer free! (I wanted to wait until the next day for my Birthday button!). We went up to our room and put a few things away and the kids wanted to get go! LOL So, we strolled around Downtown Disney. We were the first ones in line to Disneyland and we were asked to open the park! That was fun! We proceeded to Fantasyland to ride the teacups a few times, Dumbo, and everything else there! Wonderful! We headed to Indiana Jones, Pirates and Haunted Mansion. There was no stopping DH. :rotfl: Everyone was getting hungry and the kids wanted to try out the slide by the pool , so we headed back to PPH and hubby ignored all my eating suggestions per the Disboards, he led us to the Lilo and Stitch for end of breakfast. (He was shocked at the price!) :confused3 So, we go back to our room, and the kids and dh get ready to go test out the pool and slide, and I decided to put our things away, take a shower and a nap.

Day one continued:
So, while the hubby and kids are testing out the pool, I put away the clothes, turn a couple of drawers into a "pantry", relax a bit on the bed scanning the tv, when I hear a knock on the door, and someone saying "Housekeeping". Well, if anyone watches Family Guy, and has seen the episode where Peter is a housekeeper at a hotel and says "Housekeeping", you will understand. My hubby is known for playing practical jokes, so, I thought it was DH at the door with the kids, fumbling with the door key which had done everytime opening the door, along with other noises I thought was the kids. I respond, "Come on in, Ed". Pause....Once again, jiggle on the door, while hearing, "Housekeeping"...which sounds like my hubby doing an imitation of Peter from Family Guy saying housekeeping. This goes on for a few minutes, until I finally get up and open the door while saying "Just come on in you guys". Well, imagine the look on my face when I open the door and it IS HOUSEKEEPING! LOL:lmao: That poor woman and her friend! She looked at me and said "Housekeeping?" I started laughing and apologizing at the same time, explaining to her how my hubby was such a jokester.
Anyhoo, I had a good chuckle when I told the hubby! We all took a nap, and headed back to the park to hit more rides. We rode splash mountain, the train (my favorite), which when ever dh asked what one ride does everyone want to ride, I would say in my best imitation from the movie "Stand by Me" TTRRAAAIINNN. We tried the Tinkerbell twist type drink....in the big cup....daily! The kids tried a Tigger Tail, and loved it! We ate at Hungry Bear Restaurant and made a few pressed pennies! We were able to walk onto rides without any problems.
We closed the park and headed back to our hotel room where on our beds were two birthday candles made out of towels chocolate coins, and a plate of cookies! What a way to end a first day!

Day two: Monday, park opened at 10, and we were there! We immediately went to ToonTown and went through that, rode a few rides, then got on the TTRRRAAAIIIINNN and rode it to New Orleans Square to hit Indy, Jungle Cruise and Pirates. Then, while dh took DS and DD, I and another DD went on the Mark Twain. (DD was afraid to ride Thunder Mountain). We then rode splash again, Pooh, and DDs got a Tigger Tail to themselves, and DS got a MMsnowman! One DD got a tummy ache! Too much Tigger Tail-next time they will share! Off To California Adventure to check out Bugs life, and other stuff. Hubby was in a hurry, rush, rush, mode, and I had to gently remind him hey, we are here to enjoy ourselves, and we still have a few DAYS! No need to run, lets relax and look for hidden Mickeys!:thumbsup2 So, we compromised and backtracked only half the amount as if I wouldn't have said anything. We grabbed lunch at Cocina Cucomunga (yummy) then went on more rides, including the Grizzly Rapids. Wow! That ride is fun! You do get very wet. My triplets had a blast on that ride! They were laughing so hard when they saw me get soaked, they had everyone laughing!
We walked the Pier and went on the Buzzlightyear shoot ride. I rode with my2 dd and they played against each other. That is a fun ride. We enjoyed Soaring. It reminded me of America The Beautiful, from years ago at Disneyland. We went on Grizzly Rapids one more time then cut through DGH, stopping at Whitewater to get dinner to go and headed back to our hotel room. All the food we got from Whitwater was great; chicken nachos, indiv pepperoni pizzas salads. Yummy! After baths and showers, I gave everyone foot massages with Dr Sholls peppermint foot lotion! (Mentioned on the dis boards here). After everyone had one last snack, teeth brushed, bedtime. Story time! :yay:

some of the best bits were the foot massage and story time! I want a new mom. LOL
