These turned out so much better than I had even hoped for! I found nice, heavyweight cotton tees for my girls at the 99 cent store! My tee was 2.99, and DH's pooh-sized heavyweight cotton tee for 6.99. We already had a pack of HP transfers from several years ago, and of course, we already had the printer ink. So, for a grand total of $12.00 out of pocket, we all have brand spanking new matching t-shirts for our trip. We leave Monday!! I doubt we'd be able to buy even just one shirt at the parks for that. I love them.
Sorry the pictures aren't so crisp. Not sure what happened with my camera today. By the way, I used HP transfer paper that we just happened to have here at home. In the future, I'd love to try the "dark" transfer paper, as the images, while printed perfectly vibrant etc, didn't transfer as vividly.
Super huge
to Maria (cruiser1969) for the front designs - Papa, Mom, Big Sis, Lil Sis.
The back I kind of did on my own. Thanks to ladylucca - I found the little stick figure family on her web page and tweaked it a little to have a dad, mom, and 2 girls of different sizes. I found the castle image from mickeynews.com after doing a search in yahoo images for "Disneyland castle". I downloaded the Waltograph font - and I even made the 2006 mickey ears. Surprisingly, it wasn't even that hard.
