EXCELLENT/SUPERIOR experiences Great Food, Great Service:
The Plaza Restaurant- Lunch- (Best club sandwich I ever had.)
Tony's Town Square - Lunch
Beaches and Cream - Lunch
Rose and Crown - Dinner - Illuminations!
Mama Melrose - Fantasmic Dinner Package.
50's Prime Time - Lunch - Have been here before and rated it good, but this time food and service with Uncle Dale was superior!
Dole Whips at MK
Tusker House - Animal Kingdom vouchers - excellent quality food and great deal! Wish they would offer something like this at other theme parks! Also the bakery there has amazing Rice Krispy Treats!
GOOD experiences:
Alfredo - Lunch- The food is good but really expensive, even at lunch.
LeCellier - Dinner- Must have been there on a bad night!? Nothing special food and again very expensive.
Fish and Chips stand at UK - Delicious but no place to sit down and eat except on a bench!
Probably would not go back experiences:
Liberty Tree Tavern - We were so looking forward to this. The food was not hot, fake mashed potatoes and canned gravy, restaurant not clean, just ok service, but good character intervention.
If anyone is interested...we went over to Universal too (just wanted to see what all the fuss is about)
EXCELLENT - Mama Della's at the Portofino Bay Resort.
Just OK - Pastamore at City Walk.
Not Going Back - NBA City. So ordinary.
I did not report on any Breakfasts because we had all ours at the Concierge Lounge at the Yacht Club. Yummy!
Now for the bad news... after losing 45 pounds in 11 months I put 6 pounds back on in 10 days! OUCH! I can't believe it because of all the walking we did as park commandos.
I'd do it again though!!!
