Mom and Dad left on Saturday, the 2nd group on Sunday afternoon, so there were only five of us left.

Sunday:We awoke knowing we would have to leave today and a little depressed knowing we had a really great vacation. It had been postponed 2x, Zachary was ill, and we were beginning to think we might never go as others in our original party of seven had other medical concerns as well. But we made it and had a wonderful time and can not wait to go back. Everybody except Dad, that is.
After breakfast in the concierge lounge for the last time, the adults decided to ask the kids what they wanted to do today as we had chosen the parks, etc. the other days. They wanted to swim in the pool and see Mickey’s and Minnie’s houses again. We had 1 p.m. checkout so we had one final dip in the pool. During checkout, I had to ask for the extra $25.00 for three adults in a room be taken off for two nights since Mom & Dad left on Sat. I was told we were under our limit (not) and after another phone call to match the one when I told about the $25.00 extra adult charge when we checked in, it was done. The strollers were returned, luggage in the car and away we went to MK for a final time.
It was lunchtime so we stopped and had ice cream ( from the soft serve two blgs away) and soda at Comic Chicken (Rays). Zachary felt sick to his stomach from the smells and asked Aunt Lori to take him outside (I was feeling sick from the smell, too). And then conned Aunt Lori (it does not take much) into a water bottle and small fan each for him and Cassandra. They always take care of each other making sure the other twin gets what they get.
Off to the airport to return the car, eat dinner and take the flight home. We changed clothes at the airport, Zachary wanted to know why he had to put on pants, we did not need them since it was 90+ each day, and checked the luggage. After eating dinner at Chili’s, too, in the airport, we went to our gate. Once again, Carl tried to pre-board with 2 car seats and we were told that TWA does not do that. Well, we won’t fly TWA again, it was bought by AA, no wonder. Again people were knocking down the kids to get past us. After an uneventful flight to JFK, the luggage took ½ to come out, we arrived home after midnight both glad and sad to be home.

5 days to go!!:jester:

my triplet niece and nephews.....thanks so much for taking the time to write such great reports of your trip......I am still in sadness and we have been home since APril 1st......now you sit back and plan it again.......thanks

Pumba, thanks for the nice comments, part of the reason I wrote the trip report is for the kids to have a record when they get older. Being an aunt is so much fun and I am realy glad that I got to share the experience of their first trip to WDW, it was truly magical. We bought APs to get the great rate at the Poly so we are planning to go back within the year.

Swankybeth, have a great time, I look forward to your trip report. Thanks for reading all my ramblings and your nice comments.

Just finished reading all of your reports. We traveled with 8 and thought it was tricky. I have been 2xs with my niece (when she was 5 and 7) and being able to share it with her (and spoil her as her aunt) has been a wonderful experience that I know I will never forget (I just hope she remembers)

thanks for posting!

Hi kathymc, I feel the same way. We took lots of pictures and are making a photo album with them for each of them. I hope this helps them to remember and even if they don't, there will be a special place in my memory. Thanks for reading my reports and takin the time to reply.
