It's August!!!! And we are in the teens!!!

Our park tickets are now ordered and we're slowly starting to figure out our plans for each day.

I've also been neglecting my "favorite things" countdown...I'll try to post something later on.

Love your Magical Memory! Joe and I got chosen on our Disneymoon in 2006, we were on Rafiki's float. It was such a great time! The song was stuck on our heads too. Those Christmas tree hats look hilarious!!

for the teens!!!!!! I'm so happy, yet so sad, it's August. It means our trip is closer, but it also means its getting to be the end of summer and it has yet to get hot! I'm wearing JEANS today. And, it also means Henry turns 2 in a month!

Gotta focus on the good stuff - you are in the teens, we are approaching 30 days, lots of TRs to read, planning yet to do!

It will be interesting to see if the prices increase....and if they do, how much...

We did have a good time at the David Cook show. My only complaint was that it was kind of short. But it was still good!

I've posted lists of all our must-dos for the parks, so now it's time for some Downtown Disney plans.

When we used to take longer trips, we'd have one day where we wouldn't go to any of the parks and go to DTD and swim at the pool. But since we're only going to be there for 4 full days, we'll probably just squeeze it in some afternoon.

Stores I want to visit:
Nothing like shopping in Disney!!!!

World of Disney...a given...probably the best store in all of WDW!

Disney Pin Traders...I've already mentioned how I'm just a bit addicted to pins. haha

Team Mickey...Dad always like to go in there

Tren-D...I've read about that store in the DVC magazine and seen other people's pictures and it looks so cool!

Days of Christmas store...I might want to get a new ornament to add to my growing collection of Disney Christmas decor!

Other must-dos:
Eat at the T-Rex Cafe...we loved the Rainforest Cafe and it looks pretty similar

Characters in Flight balloon...I think it would be cool to do that but I know there's an extra charge for it. We'll have to see when we get there if it's worth it.

Get a Goofy Glacier from Goofy's Candy Co...I had one of those on our last trip (it's pretty much just a slushie/snow cone type thingy). I might splurge to get one of the character cups. After all, it might make a fun item to use in my future classroom.


And an updated itinerary. Still have to decide when to go to Blizzard Beach!

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a nice weekend and were able to have some fun.

I am still amazed that it's already August and we're now only 18 days away from Disney World! I am so excited to get away for a few days. Even though it's only been 8 months, it seems like we haven't been to WDW in forever. I'm ready to go back!

Definitely DIS MEET when do you want to meet I'm sure the three of us can get it all togther! It doesn't matter to me like I said my only plans that day are TREX for dinner! Other than that I'm wide open you pick the place and time and we'll take it from there . I think Tammy is pretty flexible also! I'll PM you my cell you pm yours! I should be at POP no later than Noon as long as everything goes smoothly!

Yeah, we saw Daughtry a couple years ago when he was headlining at Summerfest. My sister was a big Daughtry fan too so I just kind of tagged along. It was a good show. Both my sisters are hoping he comes back.

Sure, if you want you can join the DIS Meet! Tammy (OneTreeHillAddict), Colleen (Goofy22) and I are talking about meeting the 24th before I leave.

It's crazy we're only a couple weeks away from our trip. Part of me feels like I just started this PTR and part of me feels like our last trip was years ago. We ended up just ordering our tickets through Disney. Dad has his annual pass and Emma and I got 10-day park hoppers with the no expiration option.

The concert was a lot of fun. I'm just glad the weather was decent since it was outside.

haha, yeah, as I was writing out the DTD plans I was thinking how you guys had so much trouble trying to get on the balloon. It seems like it's one of those things that doesn't take much for it to shut down.

2 WEEKS UNTIL WE ARE BACK IN DISNEY WORLD!!!!

So in addition to a possible DIS Meet I just found out that a friend is going to be going to Disney World while we're there too. She and her family always go to Florida right before school starts and this year they're going back to WDW for the first time in a while. They're staying at Caribbean Beach and are arriving Aug. 24 (why is everyone just coming when we are leaving?! ). I think we are probably going to try to meet up with them too. So if we have a DIS Meet, meet my cousin/aunt/uncle (haven't heard anything more from them though), and my friend/her brother/mom, it really is going to be a PARTY!!!!!

I seriously cannot wait any longer. The days seem to be dragging on and on and of course I have a one-track mind being so close! Hopefully the next 14 days will start going by a little faster...

Ahh I can't wait to be at the airport, grabbing some lunch at Chik-Fil-A , and heading down to the Magical Express Welcome Center. Wouldn't that be nice if we could extend a couple days!

I was looking at Accuweather.com and noticed your dates are not apart of the 15 day forecast. For some reason, I got really excited for that.

So cool that one of your friends will be their during your last full day. I think that means you should extend your trip for at least a few days. It's a sign!

I'd love to be apart of the meet. I think we're planning on doing MK and evening EMH at DHS that day. I'd love to try to squeeze it in, though. I've always wanted to do a DIS meet.
