That means tomorrow we can double-digit dance!

I'm just about ready to leave for school so when I get home I'll post my first Magical Memory.

Ha! Did you get a sausagegate t-shirt? That would've been hilarious!! Btw, did you watch the series with the Cubs? That wasn't so great for me. At least the Cubs didn't get swept!

Love the pics from your Gokey experience...very cool! I promise, if (and I'm sure he will) Kris gets the boot tonight all my votes will be transfered to Danny. Even though I like rock music, I'm not a fan of the glam rock.

WOO for double digits tomorrow! I start mine on Friday. It's funny b/c some times I think it's going fast, and other times I think it's dragging by.

I don't know if you can take a bus to FW, but I know there are boats and walking trails that go over there. I can't wait to go exploring at WL! It's going to be such a blast!!!

That is interesting about about Adam , i always wonder if these type of shows are fixed. Though i thought fromt he beginning it wouldn't really matter where Adam finished he would have a carer in the industry anyway.

Look forward to reading your first magical memory, although i might not be back here till friday (thats when i see the AI results show, unless someone ruins it on facebook again for me )

No, I didn't get one of the t-shirts. But they were pretty amusing. I was pretty busy this weekend so I didn't get to watch too much of the games. I was hoping we would sweep them. Oh well, 2 out of 3 isn't bad.

Yeah, vote for Danny!!! If he gets voted off I will probably vote for Kris, but not as obsessively as I have for Danny (last week I actually kept track of how many votes I got in...sad I know. What is even sadder is how many times I voted! ).

I thought when we were there in Dec. there was a bus that went to FW but I could be wrong. It can't be too hard to get there though. I can't wait to spend some more time at the WL either, looking at the WL photo thread is getting me super excited!

I know, it was AWESOME. Some of the kids at school said they were there. We were in the 6th row and the one girl said she was in the 7th row. That would've been a little awkward if I saw her there!

Oh yeah, I don't mind if it goes slowly, as excited as I am for WDW I don't want to have to go back to subbing (it is not looking very promising for any full-time jobs for next year ).

I agree, even though I don't like Adam I don't think it will make too much of a difference if he wins or loses.

Magical Memory #1

So as I mentioned this morning we are 100 days away from our trip! And to kick off the countdown here's my first magical memory. I thought it would be appropriate to start with our first trip to Disney World! (other magical memories will come at 90 days, 80 days, etc.).

So back in 1991 I guess my parents thought it would be a good idea to take us to Disney World. I was 5 going on 6, Claire was 3, and Emma was just about a year old. Because I was so young at the time, most of my memories are in the form of pictures and home videos. I do remember that my aunt, uncle, cousin, and grandma all came along. We stayed in one of the old villas (where Saratoga Springs is now).

I know we spent most of our time at the Magic Kingdom and Fantasyland since my sisters and I were so little. And like every small kid who goes to Disney World, we enjoyed meeting all the characters and getting their autographs. Mom and Dad always say how it was so much easier to meet the characters back then. Of course we had to meet Mickey Mouse in his dressing room!

One neat thing about going to Disney World so often is getting to see how the parks change over the years. Before Toontown Fair, that same area was called Mickey's Starland. Have you ever seen the Full House episodes when they are in WDW? Remember the scene where Becky is playing with the twins in those little buildings? Yep, that was Mickey's Starland. It was very similar to Toontown Fair...they had a show there based off of the Disney Afternoon shows, a playground, and one crazy thing called the Mousekemaze. We absolutely loved this thing. Like the name suggests, it was a little "maze" and throughout the maze there were these things that would shoot out water/mist every once in a while. We would run around like crazy people (and I am not kidding when I say crazy people!) trying to cover up each mister as it went off. It was so much fun.

I bet at the time my parents didn't think we'd become such Disney fanatics. So that's how it all got started! I'll leave you with one more picture of my sister and me on the bus.

I saw you over on the AI thread last night. I like going over there, but lately its not been as fun b/c you're either an Adam lover or a hater. BOO! I hate when threads turn into that kind of stuff.

I know, I can't believe our trip countdowns are coming into the double digits!! I'm conflicted though, b/c I agree with Tinkgurl about not wanting to wish the summer away. It's hard!!

I know, funny how we all get so wrapped up in a TV show. I am soooo bummed about Danny. I actually didn't even watch the whole thing, just the homecomings. I know I would've cried. He should've made it through.

Man, now I really want to go watch the Full House! Ahhh I just love those! Oh yeah, another thing I think is so funny is at one point they are talking about Splash Mountain and Stephanie points in one direction and I am thinking um no, it is definitely NOT that way. Ohhh boy I am obsessed.

TGIF!!!

Well, we are officially in the double digits, YAY! Even though we're in the double digits I am still kind of depressed...I am reading so many PTRs of people going to WDW so soon (or are there right now!). So jealous! The other day Dad mentioned how it was right around this time last year that we were there. We had such an awesome time. The weather was great and the crowds were low. We also got to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge which was amazing! I thought I'd share just a few of my favorite pictures from that trip. Enjoy!
