We got several small Dreams during our recent trip.
The first occurred on DD#2's 14th birthday. My husband and younger two kids were on a mission to get fast passes at Animal Kingdom while the oldest and my parents and I walked slower. My daughter had on two birthday buttons plus she had dressed us all in Tie Dye shirts that day. A gentleman started following them and trying to talk to my daughter.
My dh had no idea what was going on, so he ignored the man and kept walking. Thank goodness Anthony was persistent, and my dh and kids finally stopped. He made small talk with them about the weather at Animal Kingdom that day and what rides we had ridden and our plans. The rest of us caught up in time to hear that he wanted to take Brittany and the rest of us on the Safari ride (which is where we had been headed). He lead us to the ride through the fast pass lane and to the front. When there he said it's my lunchtime, but how would you like to ride Expedition Everest too. We said sure, so he gave us a fast pass to be used anytime for Everest as well.
We talked to several other dream team members, who gave us tink pins, gave my older dd a princess pin on her birthday, and gave us a fast pass to ride Soarin' at Epcot.
DD#1 and I each had tink pins to share. She gave hers to another girl celebrating her birthday. I gave mine to a little boy who was screamed at by a woman at Beauty and the Beast. My daughter was the guest of the day for 4 for a dollar and the others were in the handicapped section. I'm not entirely sure what happened but the woman made the boy and his whole family cry.
His mother made the comment upon moving her son away from the woman that she had ruined Disney for him. I think he bumped her on accident because the woman said he should be watched more carefully. This all happened while 4 for a dollar was performing. After the show, I approached the family who were still upset and told them I had something for the little boy because I didn't want him to think everyone at Disney that day was mean. I felt great because it made him and his family smile.
