Our Disney trip is next weekend!!!!

We leave for Disney this Saturday

Any last minute tips, etc.? Any recent changes to note? We did find out about SpectroMagic being cancelled all but 1 night we are there (we had already make PS's based around the SpectroMagic schedule so we were thankful to find out about this change because the night we were planning to see it was cancelled....so we changed our PS's to the night that it is planned).

I've never stayed on-site. My husband has though when he was a kid. I've heard great things about POFQ.

Any suggestions, packing suggestions, etc.?

Staying onsite is a real treat. You may become spoiled and not want to stay offsite ever again! POFQ is a great place. My family has stayed at PO-R many times and we always have fun. Between them, these 2 resorts have so many pools, restaurants, shops and activities that you will be kept busy.

Take some time to stroll the grounds. There are beautiful pathways with flowers and birds. A favorite of mine is the boatride to Downtown Disney. It's relaxing and very scenic. Make sure to get a pina colada at one of the pool bars. There are also refillable mugs for drinks.

I have stayed at POFQ 3x and it is my favorite mod resort - you'll love the theming. Oh, have the beignets at the food court - delicious! Staying on site is the only way to go.

I forgot to mention something -- when you check into PO-FQ, ask when Bob Jackson is playing over at the Riverside. My young daughter & I went to his show and had the best time. One of those "it just does not get any better than this" moments. I had read about Bob on the Dis and was so thrilled to actually have caught his show (Disney had recently hired him back after having had so many guest requests to do so). We will also be there this weekend! We're staying at the Poly this time but we have stayed at POFQ before and Loved it. Be sure to take the boat ride to Downtown Disney. Also, we're going to try e-night for the first time this year. Have a great time and wear you lime green ribbon!

I will also be at WDW. We arrive Fri. night and staying 1 night at ASMo. We move to BCV on Sat and move to VWL on Tues. We plan to go to Tues. night's enight. Hope you have a wonderful time.

Our family is arriving on Sat the 8th and we're staying until the 16th. We'll be at the WL.

I ditto the suggestion to be sure to take time to stroll around the grounds. We were at POR two years ago, the landscaping is beautiful, and we saw a red headed woodpecker not 10 feet from us that was as long as my forearm.

Hi all. I'm arriving Friday. Please wear your lime green ribbons somewhere, anywhere on your person (or child or backpack or camera bag, ANYWHERE!). In October we met 3 different people with the ribbons and 1 cast member. It was really neat. Of course sometimes it's like a 10 second 'hello, you're from the DIS' while your 3 yr.old is dragging you on the Pooh ride for the 10th time, but still it's way cool!
