We just returned from a wonderful Disney vacation! How can Disney NOT be wonderful? It was me, DH, and our two young sons ages 4 and 2. To me this age is the most magical.

The good and the bad...

We arrived 3/27 and stayed one night at Pop (couldn't add a night to our POFQ reservation). We flew SW for the first time and LOVED the aie horline. Our kids were both angels in the airport and on the planes. Much to my surprise, neither fell asleep on the plane despite not arrive to MCO until 10:00 p.m. We got slightly turned around in the airport and it took us about 45 minutes to wait for luggage and make our way to ME.

We arrived at Pop and got a very non-enthusiastic CM. He didn't understand that we were just staying one night. I asked if we could leave our luggage at Bell Services overnight since it was to be transferred the next morning anyway. He was very confused by this request. We dropped our luggage off anyway and headed to our room for the night. We were up by 7:30 a.m. for a quick breakfast at Pop before we headed over to POFQ to check-in.

We hopped on the bus to DTD then over to POFQ. Our CM there was wonderful. Our room wasn't ready, but I requested a first floor room. It took FOREVER for her to get it changed for us but she was so friendly. She got us a first floor room in building 7. Great! We left our carry-on bags in the luggage storage and headed out to the parks. She told us our luggage from Pop would be in our room when we returned.

We headed out to Ft. Wilderness for pony rides (a first for us) then to the MK. We had a very full day there and didn't make it back to our resort until almost 10:00. My DH went to pick up our carry-on stuff at the luggage storage while I took the boys to our room. When I arrived, no luggage. I quickly called down to the luggage and told them our luggage was NOT in our room, but they had already realized it. A guy from bell services helped DH bring our luggage to our room.

Some things I noted on this trip:
- I was amazed by the number of UNFRIENDLY Disney CM we encountered. That was definitely a Disney first
- I was also amazed at the amount of trash/litter I saw around the Disney parks. I know it was a super busy week, but Disney is usually very on top of their park looking clean.

Some cons of the trip:
- My two-year-old took his sandal off on the bus one night to the MK and we didn't realize it until we got to the park. We called Lost and Found several times but it was never turned it. :( Luckily I packed a pair of tennis shoes too
- During dinner at the Crystal Palace, my two-year-old threw up in the middle of dinner. He missed seeing Piglet and Eeyore. He was so disappointed after the fact. :(
- I didn't put sunblock on the sides of my feet when I wore sandals. My feet got sunburnt and it hurt so much to walk! I had to crack and pay $9 for a bottle of aloe in the gift shop (I forgot to pack ours from home) and with enough Tylenol, I could manage.
- We went to T-Rex and my four-year-old cried through half of dinner because his ear hurt. Luckily it seemed to improve w/ some Tylenol! I thought we'd be in search of an urgent care for sure.

There was a lot of fun things from our trip. It was not our first trip with the kids and we tried a lot of new things this trip. We left going, "So do we want to try to save to go again next year?" Gosh I love my DH...I have him as hooked on Disney as I am! :)
