for your AK day, i would suggest tusker house for lunch. very enjoyable!! i would really consider doing the fantasmic dinner package. the line the evening we were there was quite long~glad we had booked the package! happy eating!

love the Pepper Market. We eat there even if we don't stay there! We have also done Whispering Canyon for dinner and it was very good, the atmosphere was quite fun as well. We are doing Chef Mickeys for dinner, my friend said it was the best meal she had there! I haven't done the others, we tried to do Ohana but we had ADR before my DH had to leave and they were 45 min benind so we had to cancel :sad2: , hope you have better luck! Have Fun!!! :yay:

You have a reservation for dinner at the Si Fi Resturant at 6:00, but you don't say when the Fantasmic show begins. If show time is 8:00, you will be hard pressed to have time to eat and get a decent seat in time for the show.
In fact, I doubt if you can make those times work at all.

I would forget the Si Fi Res., and simply eat at Rosie's Cafe, counter service, bbecause it is located near the amphiteater. To see Fantasmic you really should plan to be in a seat at least one hour before show time.

Enjoy.

Fantasmic is at 9. What time should we arrive there? Should I bump up our dinner to 5?
I also noticed that it's Star Wars weekend when we go. I have no idea what to expect.

dont give up the sci fi resies. i love that place!! lol just bump up your time to make sure you can make it to fantasmic.

I would go to the Flame Tree BBQ for lunch at the AK :thumbsup2 . It is so yummy, they even have good salads. It is right before the entrance to DinoLand on the left.

And, if you go to the left and back behind the stand, there are a whole bunch of little pathways with tables to eat with, some little ponds and fountains, ducks, very parkish, but be sure to keep going deeper, it's nicer the further you go..........kids loved it!

I would recommend moving the ADR earlier. I had a 5pm ADR at Prime Time 50s Cafe. Fanstasmic was at 9pm and we had to speed walk over there to get decent seats. It was about 7:40 when we left the restaurant and we didn't be seem to be getting served any slower or faster than any other table. The meal was wonderful and leisurely so I'm not complaining about the time it took, just letting you know to leave plenty of time.

I'm going to switch my Sci Fi to 4:00. I figure my DS2&1/2 will love eating in a car. So I really want to try and fit this in.

I love BBQ, so the flame tree sounds good to me. My DS8 isn't a fan of BBQ. But maybe he could get fries or something. I love the idea of going around back and finding a seat. Does anyone know how the kid's meals are at Flametree?
