I really like lunch at LTT! The Colony salad is my favorite!

I don't think WPE serves breakfast, but don't worry about that. Artists Palette (CS at SSR) has great food all day. DH & DS love their breakfast flatbread, I love Mickey waffles :goodvibes Their lunch & dinners are great as well and different from the standard CS options which I really appreciate! The Turf Club is the TS at SSR and I think it's a hidden gem. We've eaten there 3 times now and have had great food & service each time.

As far as other CS,
MK I actually don't mind Cosmic Rays but the different lines can be a pain. Columbia Harbor House is pretty good too (find a table upstairs, it's much quieter)
Epcot: I like the fish & chips in the UK, DH loves stopping in Germany and Morroco is very good if you like middle eastern food. Sunshine Seasons has something for everyone
DHS: not overly fond of the CS options there, personally I would go to the Boardwalk Bakery and get a pannini
AK: Flame Tree is really good

your choices are wonderful.......I think you and your dh and mom will love Chef Mickeys.......we have gone to alot of the character meals with four adults or three......for CS.......at DTD, I like your choice ....if you ever have a chance to try Earl of Sandwich for a lunch.......Or down to House of Blues.....that is great too.

thanks for the tips and suggestions! I am glad to hear that about Chef Mickey for adults. I was worried.

Earl of Sandwich is on our CS list, we have never been there. I th ink we will be spending alot of time in DTD since we are so close.

My DH and I had dinner at both Liberty Tree Tavern and Chef Mickey's this last trip. With LTT getting rid of character dining in 2009, I'm sorry to say we will no longer be going there because it's just not worth it without the characters. :sad1: But with them, it was a blast!

However, Chef Mickey's was absolutely fabulous! It's now on our must-go list, right along with Le Cellier. We had a great time there. The service was great, the food was good too, and the characters were wonderful!

LTT lunch is entirely different. There have never been characters and there is an entirely different menu and is not served family style. We much prefer lunch over the dinner.

Great choices. The CS at SSR is not bad. The choices are pretty limited but the items that they do serve are good. The lines are confusing as all get out but if it's not too crowded, it is a great choice.

I also like Earl of Sandwich at DTD for a counter service lunch. I love walking down there from SSR to have a quick bite and then stroll back.

Your choices are very good (I think I've eaten at all of them except Chef Mickey's-I have a huge fear of twirling napkins). LTT lunch is our fav place at MK to have lunch and I second the choice of the salad there. And JIKO is my fav WDW restaurant that is offered on the DDP.
