Here is where my BF and I will be dining during our four day WDW stay. We're going to be on the basic dining plan.

Hollywood Studios-Sci-Fi
Animal Kingdom-Leaving the park a little early & heading to Whispering Canyon Cafe
Epoct-Via Napoli
Magic Kingdom-Breakfast at Chef Mickeys before heading to the park

Sound good?? Menu Suggestions?

BTW..has anyone ever made their dining reservations online? Did you ever have any issues in doing so? This was the first time we made our reservations on the disney website. We got conformation numbers for each reservation but there's just something about not being able to communicate with a human being that makes me a little nervous. Idk, i just worry that technology is more apt to mistakes. It would be an absolute nightmare if we showed up and none of our reservations were legit lol. I guess another reason I'm skeptical is because we're only about 50 days out from vacation and we had no problem getting reservations for all of our first picks..including the infamously hard Chef Mickeys. Is it because there's only two of us??:confused3

I would maybe consider doing a restaurant different than Via Napoli in EPCOT unless you really like pizza. I've had the pizza and it was good, but so/so reviews about other things.

Well, there are several other places I would love to try other than Via Napoli however, BF is a VERY picky eater. I'm afraid pizza is the only safe way to go whe it comes to dining in the World Showcase. However, we both enjoy pizza quite a bit so it's not a big deal. Besides, we picked this place because at home we have a brick oven style pizzaria that BF loves so hopefully the pizza is somewhat similar. I too have noticed the reviews aren't that great but I'm definitely a believer in the fact that you can't knock it 'til you try it.

Used online reservations two years now with no problems. I always take a printed copy from the site with me but didn't have to use it.

Good choices with a pickier eater. Don't worry about the online reservations; I've been using it exclusively since they started without any problems. In fact, it eliminated a problem we used to have when booking over the phone - our name is no longer spelled incomprehensibly wrong on the ADR list so we don't have to have them look us up by confirmation number at check in the way we used to!

Hi,
Dining choices sound great. We've been to Whispering Canyon before - quite loud with a "cowboy party" vibe and a lot of meat. If that is what you are looking for it can be quite fun.

We've always used the online res system with no problems. Just bring a printout for piece of mind. Enjoy!

Awesome!! BF is practically a carnivore so Whispering Canyon sounds like it was made for him! And we will definitely be bringing along a copy of our reservations. Glad everyone seems to have had such positive experiences with online ADR's. It really was a lot easier and much more convenient than calling!

Great choices!:thumbsup2 We like all of them but we have never been to Via Napoli (since it is new). Make sure to get an Oreo shake from Sci-Fi. I know there are mixed reviews on that place but we thought it was a fun setting, and even though it was just classic burger joint fare, we had much better food than H & V and 50's Prime Time!!!

My DH loves Whispering Canyon and talks about it all the time!!! We will be eating there in December when we do the DDP!

We have only had dinner at Chef Mickey's but it was one of our FAV places, again despite the mixed reviews. We will also be eating there when we go in December!!! We loved the bustling party setting, the characters were great, and the food was good!

Have fun!!!

Awesome! We have eaten at Sci-Fi and like you said, even though it's just simple burgers and fries, we love the atmosphere!

I'm really excited to try out Whispering Canyon. We were supposed to go there on our last visit but it just didn't fit in our schedule so we ended up canceling. I'm hoping we don't get put in the back room like I've read some people have. I want to be right in the middle of all the gimmicks! The food looks great too! Definitnely right up BF's alley.

I'm looking forward to Chef Mickey's because even though BF has been several times (and really enjoyed it), I have not. I made sure to make our ADR on the day we will be at MK so we will get to ride the monorail straight over from breakfast:thumbsup2
