We ate at two restaurants on December 11th. Crystal Palace for breakfast and CRT for lunch. Here are my thoughts on both.

Crystal Palace...from the moment we stepped into the MK for early entry, we were impressed. The initial hostess came out and gave my daughters Mickey confetti while we waited for our 8:05am ressie.

One bit of advice. Stay near the doors as they come out and call you by name. We heard a bunch of names called but the people were too far away to hear it and they got passed over.

Seated almost immediately. DH went straight to the buffet while I settled the kids. The food was great! Lots and lots of choices here. I highly recommend this for breakfast. Kids had eggs, bacon and croissants. DH had the breakfast casserole and fruit while I had the yogurt and granola.

I can't give enough high marks for the Crystal Palace. We used the DDP so no hassles with the check. And the character participation was GREAT! We saw all the characters within an hour and were touring by 9:15.

For lunch we ate at CRT. We had a pretty long wait in the lobby. It was about a ten minute wait for our pic with Cinderella. Then a 20 minute wait to go up for lunch. Our ressie was for 2:30 but we probably got seated around 3:00. As for the princesses, well, they were nice but really rushed by. My girls had just been to the BBB and they were in costume with custom made autograph pages, but it still felt like we barely had time to take a picture before they were off.

As for the food, I can't complain. Everything was delicious. But again, it was all so rushed! We barely sat down when the appetizer appeared. And from the time we placed our order until our food arrived could have been no more than ten minutes. Now, for those who like to eat and rush back to touring, this may seem like heaven. But for the price, I don't want to feel like I am in a revolving door.

The Major Domo is as good as everyone says! DH had the salmon. Very tasty!
Our waitress was wonderful and kept our drinks filled and table cleared.

So, thunbs up to both but I might try the Norway princess breakfast next time.

Hope this helps someone out there!!:goodvibes

Enjoyed reading your reviews ~ Thanx for posting.

I totally agree with your Crystal Palace review. We were there last week and loved everything about it. We did a few different character breakfasts and the food was far better here than anywhere else. Having Main Street to yourself for pictures doesn't hurt either. :rotfl:
As the Mom of a 4 yr old boy, I don't see myself at CRT any time soon...but CP is on my "must do" list for all upcoming trips.
