Our crazy one day hopper adventure!

We experienced both parks for the first time yesterday, only have gone to disneyland previously. I thought id do a trip report for the first time also. First, my family. There's me, my six year old son Z, and my parents D and F. My parents so graciously offered to spoil my son(and me lol) by buying tickets for our trip.

Since we have never been to ca adventure we thought we would do both parks. But we live in San Diego so we only do one day. Was a bit nervous about tackling so much in such a little time but it worked out GREAT!

I will post the next part very soon.... It starts with me waking up at 3:30am....

First I was the lucky one to get up at 3:30am to get ready and finish packing. My son and I are living with my parents due to financial issues(aka divorce/custody lawyers), so 4 people and 2 bathrooms take some staggering in the morning. Once everyone was up and ready we left at 5:30am. We were able to avoid most of the rush hour traffic (surprising given it was a Wednesday) and we arrived at the mickeys and friends parking structure at 7am.

We headed over to the entrance and were able to snag a jumbo locker and we were even let into ca adverures early, we weren't able to ride any rides but we were able to get my sons DAS.

I noticed they weren't as friendly as before but if just let it slide. They didn't argue too much with my sons need. I did notice a lot of others being denied(and they had substantial reasons that were even visible).
