Lisa- 25 stay at home mom (have not been to Disney in about 10 years)
Jeff- 32 Dad- first time to Disney
Taylor-7 Also first time to Disney
Matthew and Brandon- twins- 3 very afraid to take them
Nicholas- 1- LOVED IT
This will not be a long report, just giving you guys the basics. We left on Sat March 26th so we could visit my brother that lives down there. Stayed in a hotel that night, he has 3 boys also. Sunday we left drove to the house we rented 3 bedroom with our own pool. Unloaded, got the diapers changed, and we all went to Downtown Dis. I bought Taylor a penny press book, pen, and autograph book. Found all the items at a souveigner (sic) shop at the end of our trip. Oh, well! We ate at the McD's there, went in to a couple of more shops and then we went to Epcot. It was night time by then and it was not crowded at all. Thought we would just see what all we could get done. I was not planning on going to a park this day. Now for those of you pushing more than one stroller. I had 3 umbrella strollers with me. I bought connectors from Step Ahead online. Jeff pushed the two connected and I pushed one. Worked out great. My only problem was folding the stupid things up to get on and off the train, trams, and monorail. So for those of you that were there when we were, I am sorry for anything you might have seen. Whew, that was the WORST part of my trip. I did rent strollers a couple of times, and that was nice, they were easy to push and the kids like to be able to put there feet out, and it also kept them from sticking those feet out and stopping the stroller and all of us tripping. Having three to push and worry about is just crazy in itself. Anyways, we are at Epcot, we walk right on to Spaeshp earth, (my kids LOVED THIS) Cranium command, wonders of life, we also did Innovations. Test track and Mission of couse had a long line. We went back to our place to rest. Nice start though. I was going to start Monday off with the Magic K. Thought about it and decided maybe they should all get use to the idea of what it will be like. So we went back to Epcot, at lunch there, did journey, H. I shrunk the kids, ate in the world showcase. I purchased tourguide Mike before I left and I am glad, the one thing he is SOOO right on is to eat BEFORE 11:30 becasue after, well it takes FOREVER and when you have some hungry little ones, look out. I won't go into every detail, about Epcot but we got everything we wanted to do there done. Except MS and TT.
DAY 3 Magic KINGDOM
We got there about 8:30. This was our hardest park to get to with all the strollers. It was just a little nightmare. by this time I wanted to throw the strollers in the water. As soon as we got there we got on the train and went to Toontown fair, it was just about to open and hardly anyone was there. We got to see Mickey and the Donald, Goofy, then they opened the gate. By the way that is what TG Mike says to do get back there before it opens. We were just going to the Winnie ride and it was crowded so we rode the train, we had planned on going to ToonT another day. We went to Winnie waited MAYBE 10 mins rode, very, very short ride. Next, Peter Pan, short, but I liked this one. Next fastpass for splash. from there it was P O C, Lunch at pecos Bills, rode splash. Now this is when we decided that maybe we should let the kids take a nap things were getting crazy and we walked through toontown again- WHOA could hardly walk. We let the kids play in the little play area. After that we left went to the house and took naps until about 7pm, changed clothes and by the time we got back to the MK for the 10 spectro parade we had about 10 min for it to start. We were hungry of course, but it took us a little bit to get things going. I had snacks the kids LOVED the parade. We were standing right by the train station perfect time to go to the parade. After we walked on Buzz, and IAS World. Then it was closing time. HOLY COW the line to get to the parking lot was crazy, I just wanted to go home I was tired the kids were screaming and I had a icecream cookie sand, for my 7 year old that was melting, and cheesecake. I then remembered the TIP I read that you should go on the resort monorail if the other is crowded, we did, we walked right on and we were happy, very happy.
Okay I said this would not be long so I will try to finish up on my next post. Sorry for all the mistakes, we just got back last night and I am TIRED and SAD
