Each experience was so varied I really wanted to review them for others.
Chef Mickey- In short I wouldn't recommend this one, I won't be doing it again. We went there for breakfast. I didn't like at all that they make you stand in line for a photo that they then try to sell to you for an insane amount of money. Somehow our seat got lost between when we checked in and when we were sat, we waited 30 minutes while they seated table after table of people who arrived after us. When I questioned a staff member about when we would be seated I was pretty much brushed off and told we were next which we weren't. When we were seated it was by the lady who had checked us in and she was really surprised that we hadn't been seated yet. She apologized but there was no effort made to right it. Our table server was hard to find and we had to grab her as she went by numerous times and ask her for things we needed. The food was ok, there were things that needed refilling though. The characters seemed extremely rushed, except for Pluto, he was great. Minnie mouse actually walked away while my daughter was still talking to her which really hurt my daughters feelings. Music kept coming on randomly and really loud for part of a song and then turned off. The restaurant felt dingy and I thought it was a huge pain that the bathrooms were down a set of stairs. The whole thing was just so-so. It wasn't truly horrible but it really wasn't good either.
Crystal Palace- I would highly recommend this one!! We also had breakfast here. The staff was wonderful, and attentive. The characters were great, especially the Tigger, he was hilarious and spent a lot of time with everyone. The food was delicious and plentiful. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. We loved this one and will definitely do it again.
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall- I would recommend this one even to people without children. My husband and I actually liked it a lot. We had dinner here. Again with the line for a picture before being seated but at least this one was included with your meal. The seating staff seemed disorganized and we were not seated on time but only about 10 minutes late so not too bad. The food was delicious. The buffet part was wonderful, both our kids liked that. The main dishes were delicious. The kids had pizza and my daughter hated it, I should have insisted on the chicken for her I think she would have eaten a lot better. The desert was a little sparse though, I wish they served larger portions since it was family style. Our kids pretty much ate all of it. The princesses were good, mostly conversational and didn't seem too rushed. I think I'd like to try them for breakfast next time!
