Iankh -- You reminded me -- About a billion years ago, I too had a teenybopper crush on the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens. I checked out his website (to see what he looks like now) and surprise...surprise -- he had some samples off his latest CD up, and they were REALLY good. Oddly, I found his call to prayer cut particularly moving. Peace Train, on the other hand -- Wellllllll..that track hasn't aged quite so well... Here is a link: http://www.catstevens.co.uk/.
As far as current celeb.crush potential...he's certainly dropped down a few units (and the scale is definitely logarithmic) over time -- BUT I'm still thinkin' (fer me at least) he's got Mr. Platt edged out by a nose, even now.

Funny, but I'm reading People Mag (Aug 14 issue) right now and there is a gorgeous pic of Mariska Hargitay on pg 16. She looks amazing just one month after giving birth. Not only is she beautiful, she is also one of my favorite actors.

I'm going to be in so much trouble, my dp HATES it when I talk about my celebrity crushes... in fact, she almost refuses to go see movies or watch TV with me if these actresses appear! BUT, I'm right there with Mariska! And, it doesn't matter what she does to her hair, it looks fantastic, and she looks amazing! Of course, there's Angelina like so many others have already said! Natalie Portman and Ashley Judd would be right up there too! I'll throw out Rosario Dawson, but really only since she was in Rent!
