Our BLT Standard View PHOTOS

Nice photos! I will add your room and view info to the BLT views thread!

Thanks!

Thanks for sharing. WE were in 7137 a standard studio last weekend, right by the bocci ball court. We were able to view WISHES from the lounge, and HALLO-WISHEs from the walkway. I liked being on the ground floor.
BLT is beautiful. I had no problem with the sliding bathroom door.
It was different having two sinks in one area, but not inconvenient at all.
In the evening it was a long walk to go back to the Contempo Cafe to fill my mug. We had a great pre-cruise stay at BLT before we got on the Wonder on 9/6, we returned on 9/10.

.

Neither did we. I kind of don't understand what all the fuss is about those doors?

For us, I think the only things from a design standpoint that were less than perfect were the lack of sheer curtains & the master bath shower heads.

As for the shower:
1). It would have been nice to be able to use both shower heads at once instead of either/or
2). In our shower, if you opted for the wall mounted one, the ceiling mount would drip a little (as in 1 or 2 drops every few seconds). Not a big deal except for the fact that the water that would drip out was ice cold. Most likely an issue with our particular unit.

How far was your room from the model? It doesn't seem too far because that view was similiar and also pretty.

Thanks for sharing your pictures for the BLT Standard View room. There have been plenty of pics for MK and Lake View, yours is the first standard view I have seen.

We were in the room right next to Minnie, so here is the view from my standard studio 5137 and from the sky bridge and walkway from 9/3 to 9/6 pre-cruise.

We stayed in the same room the first week BLT opened.

WE HATED the first floor fishbowl experience and the inability to leave the curtains open in the bedroom at night -- or any time.

Nice, room with a great design. But the lack of privacy stinks and the route to the 4th floor for trash is poorly planned.

To each his own..

I would like to know more about this. If it was just yours or everyones will do the same?

Thanks for the pics. Reminds me a little of first floor units, pool view at Jambo

Yeah, I just don't know. Haven't heard any reports but :confused3

The other thing I forgot to mention was the lighting & mirror position in the master bath. Now, DH loved it because he is tall & occasionally has to duck down a bit in wall mounted mirrors. I am 5'4" & my view stopped a bit below my shoulders. The overhead light was positioned weird, IMO. Hard to explain but it sort of hit you on top of the head & gave you a weird glow. The side mounted fixtures weren't bright enough to balance it out (everything was sort of soft, low light) so make-up application was challenging, especially when you add the distance you are from the mirror due to depth of the sink/counter. CR has a wall mounted make up mirror that would easily fix this but :rolleyes1 I just ended up using the mirror over the desk.

So basically if the only things we have to "complain" about are the positions of light fixtures... :rolleyes1

Can't wait to go back!
