Our Bigger Better Vacation From Missouri--TRIP REPORT

We got up had our yummy breakfast and headed to the parks. As promised to my kiddos we started our day out in DCA we weren't early birds I think we got there about 930ish that morning, and the first place we went (after grabbing RSR FP's)...









Funny How DD was terrified in the front room of the HM but she was completely ok with ToT!!



Im gonna be honest this ride terrified me it would take a lot for me to get back on it!! DS was a little freaked out and no way wanted to ride it again DD asked probably 100 times to ride it again during the trip lol

We got off the cra cra ride and walked on around toward Hollywood Studios and I seen a PP photog and asked if we could get some pics and she said she was actually waiting on Mr and Mrs Incredible and they should be right out and we could be the first in line...SCORE


And as we kept walking we seen Doc Mcstuffins so we had to meet her too


And since we were right there we went in for turtle talk with crush!! I have to say that is the cutest thing ever!! A little boy asked Crush what does the Fox say and he responded with the sound from the song it was so funny...and after this DD was calling everyone Brah for the rest of the trip



After that we headed over towards Paradise Pier and came across this guy


it was hot so the kids wanted to get wet and we ended up here




The wait time said and hour so I was reluctant on getting in the line but we went ahead and hopped in line, luckily it only ended up being about 30mins so I was happy, we love this ride we rode it several more times thru out the trip
After getting wet we decided a show was in order






We really enjoyed the show my kids LOVED the Genie, unfortunately it stopped right before the show ended...it was at the part where Aladdin conned Jafar into wishing he was a Genie and then something messed up and they announce it wouldn't finish! We watched that whole thing and didn't get to see the ending!!

My pics seem to be lacking this day but after Aladdin we met up with DBF and headed back toward Paradise Pier on the way we stopped and got FP for Soaring and got these pics




We then went back and rode Grizzly River again because DBF wanted to and rode Mermaid and then went back to use our FB for Soaring, now DBF does not like rides so much and we go in and during the spill at the beginning it says something about if you have a fear of heights and he started freakin out then we get in and he ask one of the CM's how high it goes and the CM said about 50 ft and he bolted of course the kids thought that was hilarious. The we went and took a short break at the hotel...sometimes it was really hard to stop and go back to the room with so much to do
We went back to the park and used our FP's for RSR


We then went and ate at the lucky fortune, I had the spicy beef and it was good but no way to eat it all and the kids had the chicken but of course did not like it DBF was wanting a turkey leg so he didn't eat there, we were suppose to be trying to get to F! for seating but didn't make it in time so we stopped and took some pics




Then headed over to DL
It was actually almost time for F! to start once we made it over there so while DBF ate his turkey leg me and the kids got in line for BTMRR I am always a little nervous on how the kids are gonna feel about coasters but we all loved this one and then we got behind a rope as F! was finishing up and watched a little of the Fireworks


We actually were going to try for the second show of F! and got us a pretty decent seat but after sitting a few mins this is what happened

And DBF had made his way out of the park and has no sense of direction and could not find his way back so I figured we needed to go ahead and get back to the room

I love main street at night




I don't know what the deal was this day but I didn't take very many pics at all!!

Next up Newport Beach and Medieval times dinner!!!

This will be a shorter post but have lots of pics....This is the first time all of us have ever been to the beach and we LOVED it, I didn't think I would ever be able to get my kids out of the water!! We probably left the hotel around 10ish I think we get on the road and traffic!! Uugghh I LOVE California but the traffic is just crazy, no matter what time of day what day of the week there is traffic, you will be moving along just fine then brake lights everywhere then you start moving along again just fine with no rhyme or reason for the slow down to begin with!....We made it to the Newport area and after a while finally found a place to park!!














Ocean and mountains I totally love and love to take pics of...the main reason I chose this beach is because of Balboa fun zone and pier....we never made it there my kids just wanted to stay in the ocean...the main problem I had with this beach and I don't know if it was just the area we were at or what there was no place to rinse the sand off so of course sand was all in my car and all over everything but we still loved it....after a few hours at the beach we went back to hotel to get cleaned up for our Medieval dinner!!!

I had considered doing the Pirate Adventure our last trip but cancelled because of things I heard about the food not being good etc. and I had seen on an episode of TI and Tiny Medieval times and thought we would try this....This was awesome and if I am ever in an area that has another one we will do it again, the food wasn't absolutely amazing or anything but it was decent, I really liked the tomato soup but my kids were mesmerized thru the whole thing, usually they are complaining or griping about something they sat quietly thru the whole thing watching and loved it!!

It was really neat you had a certain person you were routing for and cheering for and then you also had a certain side to cheer for it was a lot of fun and I highly recommend it!! After our dinner we headed back to the hotel and went to bed to get up early for MM

Sure they are super easy!! But a lot of people say wash them after you put the iron ons on...IDK if it was the transfer paper I used or what but I did not wash mine and it was a good thing because in one wash they started cracking.

Next up was our Magic Morning day and since Peter Pan was the main reason to get there early and it was down I seen no point in getting there super early, so we got there about 30 mins after magic morning started

First Up




I didn't remember us riding this our last trip but after riding it this time we had to of rode it because I remember the scenes inside

Of course the next logical place is...


I know for sure we didn't ride this last time






And then of course the other next logical place would be...




Then we went over to


then we headed over too...


I REALLY wanted to ride this ride and we got in line but the wait was CRAZY!! They only had one boat running at the time the whole cue is in the blaring sun and sooo close together!! I loved the ride but hated the wait!!









By this time ToonTown was opened so we headed over there the actual reason was to go to Clarabelles (which I later found out wasn't even the right one to get the kitchen sink) but it wasn't open...so we did some exploring and meeting and rode Gadgets Go Coaster









By this time I was starting to get hungry and no place in Toon Town was open so we headed toward TomorrowLand Terrace as I was getting our food a training academy show was just finishing and DS really wanted to do the next one so we ate our food, I got a burger which was a LOT better this time compared to the dried out one I had last visit and the kids got the chicken nuggets and really like them. We ate then made a bathroom break then went to get spots for Jedi Training acadamy

I had made DS a little sign that said Obi Wan Has Trained me well it was just on a sheet of Paper and I didn't make DD one because she had said she didn't want to do....she changed her mind

DS was one of the first to get picked on our side


DD was one of the last ones picked and ended up right in front of me


Both fought Darth Maul and I was REALLY scared DD would freak out but both did awesome and LOVED doing it they were playing like they had light sabers the rest of the day














I took a ton of pics, I was kinda aww struck seeing Darth Vader up close and personal hahaha

Next up Innoventions...


As we walk by a CM was saying that the line was there to meet Thor there was no one in it so I was like awesome...uhhh no there was still a whole other line across the isle and we got to go ahead and join the other isle immediately but had to wait thru a whole group to get it (we got stopped at the door) and there was a line we were suppose to wait behind but some Chinese people behind us kept moving up where eventually we were right up against the door and it seemed like it took forever!! But we finally got in and it was awesome!!




Then we played around for a while...this was a neat little game


After that we went to take a break for a little while because we had a bit of an early dinner reservation.
Next stop...dinner with the princesses




the pics that I took at our table didn't turn out great because of the window behind them








the food here was meh...my BF didn't like any of his of course the kids liked their's and I had some sort of shrimp pasta and it was ok not great and the salad was not good at all...probably wouldn't pay to do it again but DD really enjoyed it

Now...our next stop was some place DS had been asking everyday to do and I was trying to put it off but could no longer
SCREAMIN...DD really wanted to get on it but apparently the dentist office lied and she was MAYBE half an inch to short she was really upset....but she stayed with her dad while me and Bj got in line(I was secretly hoping the line would be too long) I really thought I was going to have a panic attack while waiting and DS was all excited about it...then we got to the seats and he is like ummm maybe I don't want to ride it...I said to late now buddy get your butt in that seat...he told me to let him know when the part was coming up that went upside down, I was more worried about the take off but it was an awesome coaster and we loved it!!


Then we got on Ariel again because its always a short ride and we just love it

After that we hopped on over to DL and was just in time and still got an awesome spot for Soundsational...I some how forgot our last day we watched Pixar which we had seen a couple times our last trip but we have never seen this one so I was excited!!












Our next stop was my FAVORITE ride and we only rode it once while we were there






After this we got us a spot for F! I think it was about an hour before start time possibly hour and a half and we got an awesome stand up spot on the rail dead center so I was very pleased
This was the only pic I got because I Videoed it and we LOVED this show it was amazing


And before turning in for the night we made one more stop and it was another one we didn't get to ride the last trip






I was telling my kids as we were going thru the cue when we go in don't look in the Statues eyes well then of course after our crazy ride they were like who looked in the eyes lol we really liked this it was a lot of fun unfortunately we didn't get to ride it again either the next time we went to ride it was down and we couldn't get FP's...next up sight seeing and another beach

I have been really slacking so I am gonna try to get some updating done!!!

Our next day was a sightseeing day....DBF only asked to do one thing just for him on this trip so I obliged



He had to see the Staples Center because he loves the lakers, we walked all around they had something going on at the Nokia Theater? and there was a ton of people waiting outside in line but I have no idea what was happening.

After this stop we made our way out to the hills and the Griffith Observatory...we had parked a long way and had to walk I thought we would die before we made it to the top

My kids really enjoyed the stuff in the observatory and there was so much we didn't even explore















I really enjoyed our observatory trip and then next up


My kids loved the beach so much that we had to make another trip to a beach


These kiddos with my DS taught him how to do the boogey board and he did really well


A big giant wad of seaweed I though was interesting




Haha I thought this was funny while we were leaving

On our way home we stopped at In&Out burger and got us some food to take back to our room...It was CRAZY how long the line was but they were pretty good burgers!!

The next morning we headed over to DCA and DBF actually went with us this AM so we got a FP for RSR then headed over to TSMM for another ride

We decided to stop and do this since there was no line


I am not a fan of spinning things so I kept my eyes closed the whole time

Then on to something else the kids had been begging to do










By this time it was time for our RSR FP so off we went

After this I think we headed to boardwalk pizza the kids had the kids meal and me and DBF had the chicken Caesar salad and it was YUMMY!!!
Then we went to have a little break before heading over to DL.

Me and DS finally convinced DD to ride this one


She ended up really liking it and was like well that wasn't scary at all lol

Then some how we ended up here


DD LOVES this DS not so much




We had dinner some where and I can't for the life of me remember where then we headed back to get this



And wait for WOC to start, we got the yellow section and got a pretty decent spot in the wet zone on a rail and we sit to start eating our ice cream and it starts raining some, the kids put their ponchos on and it was never like a pouring rain but steady enough to be annoying!! Which after WOC started it didn't matter because we got SOAKED!!! Some was from rain and and the wind was blowing just enough to drench us but it was an awesome show and we loved it...will not sit in the Wet zone again though!!!







It was so beautiful!! Then of course it was time to get dried off and head to bed!!

I have totally neglected my TR I think because I was almost done with it and it makes me sad especially since we have no Disney trip planned in the foreseeable future...but I will try to get on this week and finish it up
