THIS is MGM day! I’m not calling it Disney Studios until I HAVE to!

WAIT!!!! Some people call it Disney Studios???

My DARLING husband decided to wake up at the butt-crack of dawn 4:00 Florida time, the middle of the night Utah time (which is what we’re still “feeling”). What with the general sleep deprivation and the adrenaline of the first full day having worn off a bit, NOT a good plan.

Oh Sweetie!!! You just don't have him trained right!!!!! It's OK if he gets up early. It's GOOD, actually!!!! See, HE gets up early AND goes out to get the am nescacrap (or the good stuff if you're at the Poly!!) and YOU get 1) to sleep in longer and b) well, to sleep in longer!!!!

One bathroom and 5 people…I have to be a strong leader. We must take turns. Me first because I take the longest. “I” meaning Norah and I. She’s still young enough to shower with her mama and not stare at stuff.

WHAT??!!! You actually TOOK a shower??!!

He makes a flip comment about us not being ready, which causes a VERY pissy remark to FLY out of my mouth and he comes completely and unreasonably UN-corked on me! Looking me square in the eye he says to ME, “You know, YOU are making this vacation truly horrible and NO one wants to be around you at all!!!!!!” See, he has a VERY loud voice naturally so it ALWAYS sounds like he’s yelling at me…but with this volume it’s twice as bad. “WHAT?!? Where’d THAT come from???” So he elaborates. Informs me. Loudly. That I was supposed to be ready to go when he got back. I MISSED the memo and I failed ESP(N)! He never COMMUNICATED this request to me and I was just supposed to KNOW. I was suddenly expected to be a morning person because we are on vacation. He enquired as to WHY it takes us 1 and a half hours to get ready???? It was nearing 9:00. I profusely and dramatically apologized for standing around for 1 and ½ hours picking my nose…which ticks him off even more!

Here's a NEWSFLASH for ya!!!! Husbands are genetically predisposed to flippin' hissy fits at the drop of a hat for NO REASON AT ALL!! It's TRUE!!!! Something about their hormones??!!!

UM that was such a moving TR... I was feeling the pain you felt... Then when DH posted the tear jerking apology, I was crying too. You have a good hubby! See posting = journaling which let you get it out and let hubby see the pain and now all is GOOD!!!!! When you commented about Dr Phil.. I could just here Dr Phil say " What in the world were you thinking" Speaking of Dr Phil.... I bought Robin's (Dr. Phil's wife) new book Inside My Heart. I am not a reader but LOVE this book. Great for all us women to read Cant wait to read the rest of your trip!

UM, great report.... that DH of yours is a great guy, apologizing publicly on the DIS..... he's a keeper.

My DH has learned long, long ago that picking a fight with me at WDW is not a good thing to do- he usually ends up buying me presents to sooth things over. He was a quick learner.

I'm sorry there were some frayed nerves on your MGM day- I hope things got better quick.

I started reading the Dis Boards to find more info for our upcoming trip to suprize UM with something big for her.

Wow, this sorta looks like my housekeeping. All the while we were walking in the Tower of Joy I kept thinking, "Wouldn't it be great to live here...I'd never have to dust." I am very sorry I yelled at you while on our Vacation.
I Apologize for the way I acted.


The reason I got up at 4:00 A.M. was I had a headache. "Caused by the nice hot Florida sunshine." So I got out of bed to keep from waking the rest of the family and I wanted to take some really cool pictures anyway. See UM likes to scrap book and this was the perfect opportunity. While I was out taking pictures I started talking to a guy that just arrived from Chicago (His plane got in at 3:30a.m.)
and he was there for the pintrading event. He was telling me all about it and the special things that disney gives to the pin trading guest.
Early to the parks is also the best time for pin trading. This is when the cast members have the newest pins on there lanyards. This is why I wanted to got to the parks early.

I will take this time to say that your trip report is the best one on the DIS Boards and I was apart of it.

For those of you that also like pictures here is three of the pictures that I took at 4 oclock.

I'm sitting here blubbering in front of my computer. Thank you so much for sharing those private feelings with us! It's not alaways easy to air ones "dirty laundry", especially on such a public forum as the DIS.

I just found your TR and it is great....The answer to this question (see below) is they are the people who helped Walt build disney. Pal Mickey tells me that everytime we walk down mainstreet.

UM - we're planning for our trip in 2 weeks and we'll definitely be making a stop with the rental car on the way in to pick up my Diet Pepsi as well. At our house my husband calls my diet Pepsi - "Mom Crack". Once I get my fix, everyone is happy.
