What a fun report. EE is just one of the things that I am most looking forward to on our upcoming trip (ok, its probably way up high on the list of things I want to do). I'm probably going to have drag a few of my girls on there kicking and screaming (they'll thank me for it later). Animal Kingdom is what we are doing on our first "whole" day at the park as you put it, just so we can see a yeti foot.

I am also impressed that you got your husband to wear a matching shirt. I told my husband that we were going to go "matching" this year, but he still will have nothing to do with it. I think we'll all wear pink just to teach him a lesson. :)

Thanks for the update. This is great fun. :)
The matching shirs was HIS idea! I wanted to do the tie die mickey ones found on the "creative boards" but ran out of time!

Your kids will totally love EE and the Yeti is very cool!

I have grown to love Animal Kingdom! I used to think it was only a half day park, but now I love it!

P.S. THANK YOU!

:confused3 Why do all your post make me hungry? I swear I gained 5 lbs just reading you!

Of Course!!! You mean not EVERYONE laminates & preserves (forever) these swiped cards that symbolized our devotion and announces our presence too each other while pilgrimaging the Mudda country??????

:lmao: One more TIP. FREE FOOD = 0 Calories!!!! ::yes::

However unlike Mugs, It is politically correct to REUSE PM on return visits!!!!!

If we all just had $1 EVERYTIME this quote was uttered on WDW property, Everyone with a registered DISname can stay 1 month a GF in the Presidential Suite!!!!!

Yeah right that helps!

Bribery DOES work as you'll see pretty soon!

(mysterious foreshadowing)
Guess who deems EE (not your son) his very best favorite ride ever!? :rolleyes1

Not everyone can get that.

Keep it up, speaking for your dedicated readers.
It was an happy accident...serendipity!

Thank you awfully! Wow, I have 'dedicated readers'??? Cool! or Hot if you are Paris Hilton!

The foot photo looks better on printed paper than on computer screen, but what canya do?

Loving your report! I tried to convince DH & my kids that we shoudl all wear matching shirts one day...EVERYONE vetoed the idea!!! Guess it has something to do with teens & pre-teens.
He had no choice. He has a control freak for a mother.

The shirts were DH's idea...I just made the shirts and passed them out!

DS17 is the only one who just DIED to participate in teh matchy-matchy!

I appreciate you reading my TR! Thanks!

Sorry I didn't see this until this morning! I must have just shut down as you were posting and sending the PM.

I LOVE the picture of you beautiful Utah-ians! Hey, DH may be Meg's freebie, you never know! I also LOVE Miss Norah Doodle Bop in the picture. You can tell she's had too much of the paparazzi!

Great episode and we'll be waiting for you.....

P.S. I'm with Chicken Little in the gift shop! Wuss alert!!!!

I forgive you! Norah was sooo sick of the paparazzi (photo-pass guys)
Let me use my GREAT guilt technique on you that I did on Riley...

"You WILL go on Everest, missy! We didnt fly allll this way and spend allllll this money for you to chicken(little) out!""
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: "Missy!!!" :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

If Meg wants him, she is welcome!!!!

Thank you for reading!

Nice family pic! :thumbsup2

Was Miss Norah tired? Or was she just in toddler mode and refusing to take the pic? Bless her heart. I have lots of toddler pictures of DD8 and DS3 where the only part of their face I can see is the binky. :rotfl:
YES! We still had jet lag (2 hours feels like alot in the AM!) I was SO focused on our destination (EE) that she sensed it like a dog senses fear! It's funny that you say "bless her heart" because that's what I say when I gossip or say something less-than-nice about someone! As if it makes gossip ok???

Thank YOU soooo much for sticking with me!!
I love you muchly! :goodvibes

Great update UM!
Poor Riley, I bet he really wanted to want to ride.
I've been there, so afraid, but so wanting to ride. Poor guy.... I probably would have bribed him with money.
Though all it took to get my little chicken Tommy onto RnR was to promise that I would ride too (I'm so chicken that I sprout feathers at the big rides)

Can't wait to read more. popcorn::
Not money....Riley's Achillies Heel is trading pins!!! Which I used to the fullest of my mothering abilities! I used to judge parents who bribed their kids...so it's sadly ironic! You do what you have to do, yes?

Thanks,Mary!!! (FEATHERS?! :rotfl: )

Look, look, looky at you all in your matching shirts - too cute for words! This is the level of DISness I'm striving for next trip. I've got two months to convince my mother that we should all be wearing matching Disney Xmas hats for the MVMCP. I say if UM can bring a 17 year old boy on board, surely I can manage my mom! :thumbsup2

I should be doing a gazillion other things right now. But I can't stop sneezing and figured the DIS was the place to be. SO I just went back and reviewed some of your Pre-Pre Trip Reports, getting re-aquainted with the characters. I highly recommend this tactic! Ready for the next awesome installment with a new appreciation for everyone's personality... popcorn:: Good stuff, as always!
Tell your family you NEED to match for the photos for your Christmas Cards!!!

My 17 year old wanted to wear his AC/DC (black) t-shirt this day...but I SURPRISED him with my home-made one and guilt works VERY effectively with him. He also tastes recipes I'm experimenting with and is complimentary even when I KNOW he's hating it! By the time the shirt was on his back, I had manipulated the situation so keenly, he thought it was HIS idea! :confused3

Do you know how much popcorn remnants are clogging my keyboard??? popcorn::

Thank You for reading!!!!!

Yup, Norah is OK now but suffering with the aftermath of antibiotics and yeast infections...yikes! Boys are SO much easier!

Hoped you liked!

I felt a challenge in the air.

And rose to the bait.

You're one of the reasons I'm able to shuffle through my endlessly tedious Trippie.

Seeing your freakin' hi-lar-ious expression by the Coke machine always makes my day.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Plus... you're comments are always witty and make me smile.

Except when you throw down. The gauntlet.

Heh heh.

BTW... this trippie of yers is pretty darn good. And funny.

I read plenty but don't always respond.

It's because I'm ignorant and lazy.

Also... I've been called a plagerizer, foul-mouthed, hackneyed and WORSE.

You, on the other hand, have a great lil trippie goin' on here.

I also like "meetloaf". A lot. I prefer the term "craploaf". Tho.

Or "sweetloaf". Better.

Anywho... THANKS for sharing your trip and your talent. Kudos.

Now... come back and see Me(l) some time!

Cheers, Mel.

YAY!!!! That made my day!!!! Pretty much!

Thank you for being so contraversial on the boards...That I LIKE! I love your attitude and your heart that is 3 sizes too big!

I am sooo lazy with this but I love to do it. Just wish I had a swell EASY button and could have it done!

Hey, I think I'll make sweetlaof for dinner! Along with my Funeral Potatoes.

I read your TR all the time. I like your style, very addictive and funny!

What does RollTide mean? Something kin to Tally Ho?

Stop by anytime! Thanks for readin! :moped: :moped: :moped:

You mean that there are other methods to parenting other than bribery? :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Oldest DS is FINALLY getting the idea of it pretty well, and I am counting down the days (years?) that the youngest "gets" it, like if you do this then you get this.

Great report. LOVE the matchy shirts. However I could NEVER EVER in a MILLION years (or dreams, hehe) get DH to wear brightly colored matching t-shirts. We used to make fun of families that did that when we were cm's and when we were cm's who went to WDW :rolleyes1 We were really brutal, and he still does it now when we see families at DL, so it's a no go for us. But LOVE your skills with oldest DS, ver well done.

I've already got my bribes in place for our upcoming trip for my DD8. I told her what I'd like her to ride with us and she's told me what she'd like in return :rotfl2: What can I say this system works for us. I only use it at Disney though ;)
Kimba

Great report by the way!! We (except DD8) are looking forward to Everest...now I just gotta check out that Yetti's tootsies!!

Here’s the one of a kind, never to be repeated,

but you can try, photo of a Gen-u-INE Yeti FOOT!!!….. note the cables and wires and

the realistic DETAILS of those claws!!!! ((shiver)) *TILT YOUR HEAD TO THE LEFT:

Now, I’m no Yeti foot expert, but those look JUST like the real ones! Youbetcha!

Now you've spoiled it for me! :guilty: I was sure that they, being Disney, had captured, tamed and trained an actual Yeti. Cables and wires coming out of his leg?!? Next you'll tell me Johnny Depp doesn't live in PoC! pirate:

It wasn't me was it????? I've had it happen to me recently too. Maybe we blend into the woodwork. .... Well.....maybe I blend into the woodwork. I don't think you blend into anything. Your pretty stand out. :teeth: :lmao:

I see Norah is feeling better! Hooray for Pirate Norah! All hail pirate: Norah!
Oh,goodness no! wasnt you!

I do blend into my Laura Ashley Apple kitchen wall! If I wear my lime and stand infont of it!

Yes, she's a bit yeasty now thanks to the antibiotics, and not a bit snuggly!

Back to her Piss'n'Vinegar self!!!!

Another great report. I has Chicken Little sitting next to me on EE. DD did not want to go on the ride, but I bribed her on. Well, let just say we did not have a pleasant ending. She yelled when we got off in between her sobs, " I sob, will never, sob sob, ride that, sob breath, YETTI MONSTER, sob sob, AGAIN!!!" I was laughing the entire time and that only made it worse. The sad thing is we also did this when she was five with TM and TT. To this day she will not ride TT for her life (hates the way her tummy is in the throat.)

Well, I for one was expecting more crustiness to the imagineered toe-jamb - what a great photo! Talk about up close and personal, and yet non-spoilerish!

I am inspired by your cute matching shirts. In my family, I am the fictional one in none of the photos. If it were up to my DH to take them, we wouldn't have more than about 15 photos total, I think. Gotta love those photopass photographers.

Sorry to hear that Norah is yeasty, but glad she kicked that infection- poor kiddo! I recently found a new supplement called Threelac that really helps with recurrent yeast - I am not afiliated, but thought I'd throw it out there in case.

Looking forward to the next installment, as U-sual! :thumbsup2
