Day 6
It was Saturday and my BIL and SIL were meeting us at MGM at noon. We were kind of tired from the day before so we slept until 9am. We decided on brunch today so we wouldnt have to stop for lunch so we ate at the buffet at the Yacht Club Galley again. I could live on those French toast sticks. After we stuffed ourselves good we took the boat over to MGM. We went through One Mans Dream again. I video taped the first time we went through it and didnt get to read all of the displays so I wanted to see it again when I had time to read everything.
After that we met BIL and SIL at the big hat. They never spent much time at MGM so we showed them some of our favorites. We did Muppets, Lil Mermaid and Rock n Roll coaster. BIL loves thrill rides and had never done RNR coaster before. I specifically told them to meet us at MGM so I could ride it with him. As we got to the loading area I chickened out. I couldn't believe my own actions! I felt so bad, but I was starting to get really anxious about that take off. I really love that ride, but I just couldnt do it. I guess Im getting old. I know Ill do it again, but just not that day. I was waiting in the gift shop when 2 minutes later my SIL came in. She chickened out at the last minute too. I felt so bad for freaking her out. I hope she does it in the future. My BIL absolutely loved the ride. He was a little woosy though. Theyre still giving me a hard time about chickening out.
We had a priority seating for Cape May for dinner so we decided to head over to Epcot. They had never done EEA and they are big Ellen fans so we did that. They really enjoyed it. We next did Test Track. The wait was 75 minutes (it was Saturday and the crowds were heavier) so we did the single rider line. We were on the ride in a few minutes. My SIL and I lucked out and got to go on together. After that we caught HISTA.
It was time for our PS so we walked over to Cape May and stuffed ourselves again. Were from Boston so we love our seafood. We ate a ton of clams, mussels and shrimp. I was very fixated on the ribs though. They were delicious. The meat just fell off the bone. After eating numerous desserts we declared ourselves pigs and waddled back to Epcot to watch Illuminations. BIL and SIL have never seen it. We were able to catch the Tapestry of Dreams parade too. Im not sure if I like this one or not. It seemed a little repetitive to me. We found the usual spot for Illuminations and grabbed the usual Molsons and enjoyed the show. It was another really nice day. Tomorrow we move to the Polynesian.
