We spend a week at BCV in a studio... room 421. It had a normal balcony that over looked the check-in/valet area.
We checked in early around 8:00am and were VERY surprised when we called back to the resort around noon to find out our room was ready.
It was very clean and seemed to be in good shape. We did notice a few days later that some light bulbs were burnt out and the sink in the kitchenette started to leak. We called housekeeping/maintenance about it, but no one came. So two days later we called the front desk and let them know (and also let them know we had called housekeeping/maintenance and no one took care of it). We headed out to the parks and when we came back everything was taken care of.
Storm-a-long Bay was a huge hit with our daughters and the villas pool was very nice as well.
The room was quiet and very close to the laundry which we took great advantage of. We also noticed ALOT of cleaning was going on. We saw different carpets being cleaned on a daily basis.
We ate at Beaches and Cream and Cape May for both the clam bake and the character breakfast.
We liked BCV. It is a VERY pretty resort, but our hearts still remain at our home resort VWL. We have no real complaints...but it just wasn't "home" for us. I think it all comes down to themeing and which we prefer. Isn't it great that DVC gives us the option of several different themes and resort locations so we can all have our favorites?
