Ok, I know that noone ever follows the plans they make before going to WDW. However, being the obsessive planner that I am, I have decided to post my plans anway. Here we go

My upcoming cast of characters:

:earsgirl: Me (22) Loves everything Disney and especially loves bringing first timers

:earsboy: DH (23) Is becoming a Disney lover since his first trip with me in 2000
:earsgirl: DSIL (17) First Timer

princess: DD (6) Just like mommy, loves everything Disney especially the princesses, although Daddy has been making her more partial to Stictch

August 22-29th

DAY 1 (August 22nd)

Ok, so here goes the plan. I happen to be working the weekend before our trip (11a-11p) I know crappy, but what the hell it's the medical field after all. So, since I won't get home until late it actually worked out that the only flight I could get on SW out of Philly the next day for the amazing $98 roundtrip price, was a 3:20p landing at MCO at 5:50p. So, we decided that we would spend our first night checking in to POFQ and then heading over to DD to go to Disney quest. We will get our resort mugs, have a counter service dinner (we are on the FREE dining plan) and then head over to DD by way of the boat! We were both thinking that if DSIL and DD pass out in the room from mere exhaustion, we may head to the Hot tub to wind won a bit ;)

DAY 2 (August 23rd)

We will wake up early and head to Animal Kingdom, have breakfast at Donalds Breakfastsaraus (PS @ 8:40 am) check out what lil AK has to offer (sorry DH and I are not animal fans, and are going only for DD and DSIL who love animals) and then head back to the resort to chill a little before going to MK (everyones fave park) having some lunch at Caseys riding all our faves and then going to OHANA for a late PS @ 8:40 (conveniently right before the fireworks @ MK) then it's back to the resort to unwind and prepare for the next day.

DAY 3 (August 24th)

Today we are going to have breakfast @ the resort and then head over to MGM, see the shows and ride the rides, have an early dinner (PS) at the Sci FI @ 4:10 (after seeing the parade that I have always wanted to see) and then hang around the park until closing, probably get a quick counter service meal a lil later @ Pizza Planet (maybe see fantasmic) and then go to the MK for extra magic hour! of course that means we wont be getting to bed until late so...

DAY 4 (August 25th)

Today, we will wake up a lil later (9am) and then have brk @ resort, head over to Typhoon lagoon, have fun in the water park, grab luch at Typhoon lillys. Head back to the resort around 3, get showered and changed and head to Epcot. We will actually see the countries this time (doing them first) head to Alfredos for dinner @ 5:50. Go over to Future world for extra magic hours and get on all ouf fave future world rides and then watch illuminations before heading back to our resort to flop!

DAY 5 (August 26th)

Today we are heading to MK for brk @ crystal palace (gotta get our dosage of pooh) staying in MK for awhile before heading over to Fort Wilderness (always wanted to ride a horse and DD wants to ride a pony and see the petting farm) After we are going to our resort to change for dinner @ BOMA (6pm)I can't wait for this and then we are gonna finish our night at DD again, probably doing Disney quest and some shopping.

DAY 6 (August 27th)

Today is another water park day and so we have decided to grab BK @ the resort again, head over to Blizzard Beach, grab lunch at the warming hut and after head back to our resort to change before going over to MGM fand doing some more of our faves, lastly we are going to head to Beaches and Cream for dinner before ending our day strolling the Boardwalk (another thing we have never done)

DAY 7 (August 28th)

Today will be our last full day, so were going to get an early start, have bk @ the resort, head over to Epcot and have lunch @ the cantina de san angel and see some of our fave epcot spots before heading to the MK to ride all the best rides, see spectromagic to end our trip and have dinner at Chef Mickeys @ 9:30 pm! then its back to the resort to do wash (swim while its washing) and then pack for the next day :guilty:

DAY 8 (August 29th)

Our flight leaves earlier then we are used to, so today we are just going to take advatage of ate check out (1pm) have BK in our room while we preapre to leave, head out to check out and board the ME bus that will take us to MCO for our 4:35 departure back to philly :guilty:

So what do you guys think?? hopefully I will be this motivated to write a trip report when I get back, instead of the usual Disney withdraw that I go through, where I can't even look on the DIS let alone post LOL.

And just think my next trip after this one isn't untill December of '06. But that time we are doing the 3 day bahamian on the wonder and staying at the WL!
:flower:

Sounds great! Your a planner like me, me and my kids are also going around the same time you are.. Doesnt sound like you left too much time for the WS in EP but maybe those plans will change when you get there...

We'll be going during that time frame also and we are pretty planned. 8 days in the park :goodvibes can't wait.

Sounds good. You've planned in a lot of relaxing time, which is right since it will be hot.

We're going the same time, but we are going (probably foolishly! LOL!) to do the night EMH's, becoz the kids want to experience the parks at midnight and beyond. So I will thank you for skipping them! That will be four less people for us to deal with. Let's see, that's 2 bazillion minus four . . .

your plan sounds fine, however, don't put the AK down as a yawn. It will take more than just the morning to see all the attractions there. The Safari, the walking tour of Asia (with the tigers, right?), and the gorillas. Then there is dinoland. While I am not a great fan there, I do like the ride, Dinosaour. And Last but Not Least, the great show,Legend of the Lion King!! Our fave!! Go and enjoy!! We will be there next August about the same time...let us know how you make out!!!

Sounds great!! I plan the same way every trip we take practically down to the 15 min intervals. :rotfl: However, it gets scrapped as soon as we get there except we do stick to what parks on what days and our PS's of course. Just wanted to let you know that your PS at Sci-Fi might conflict with the Parade. The Parade is at 5PM I believe when you are there and you might not be out of dinner and be able to grab a seat in time. You will have to grab a seat for the parade AT LEAST 20 min before it starts to be able to see and that was when we went in February and there was hardly any crowds. We are going in about 20 days so I will let you know how bad it is when we get back.

P.S. We are from Harrisburg, nice to see someone from Philly on here. Went to Sesame Place on Friday and have not figured out how people drive in Philly yet. :rotfl:

Well, it has been our past experience that we were able to do everyhting we though worth doing in the morning, we really are not animal ppl at all! But thanx for trying :flower:

You mentioned getting something to eat later (after Sci-fi at 4:10). Is it just me or do a lot of the CS places at MGM close early? We have never gotten to eat at Pizza Planet because it's always closed!!

We'll be there 8/26 to 9/3 and our plans don't overlap at all !! :sunny: It's gonna be sooooo empty ;) . (wishful thinking)

Have fun.

Anna

I think I read on the boards that the petty zoo is closed now but the ponies are still there.

You might want to review the postings about EMH at MK and Epcot. Reports are they are very crowded and most guides suggest going to other parks during EMH. DisneyQuest is also most crowded at the end of the day...

You'll have fun either way.

Just wanted to alert you that Food Quest in DQ is on the dining plan list as counter service. I think their food is great and the desserts are heaven. You might want to give it a try instead of the resort counter service.

.

Your schedule looks pretty good, but I do have two comments:
1-Why only a maybe for Fantasmic? I am sure that you have probably seen it, but DSIL might really enjoy it...just curious.

2-You are probably more of a Disney vet than I am, so you probably know better than I. But it seems like you are doing a lot of hopping around. I am sure a lot of that is dictated by needing rest, restaurant locations, and taking advantage of certain EMH’s…but it just seems like a lot of time is going to be spent on busses/boats/monorail...Especially Day 5

Today we are heading to MK (bus) for brk @ crystal palace (gotta get our dosage of pooh) staying in MK for awhile before heading over to Fort Wilderness (bus or boat) (always wanted to ride a horse and DD wants to ride a pony and see the petting farm) After we are going to our resort (either two busses or 1 boat/1 bus) to change for dinner @ BOMA (at least 1 bus) (6pm)I can't wait for this and then we are gonna finish our night at DD (bus) again, probably doing Disney quest and some shopping. (boat back to POFQ)

Just seems like an ambitious effort..but we all know that plans change...go, have fun and say hello to ::MickeyMo and ::MinnieMo for me
