Our Anniversary Week at the Happiest Place on Earth!! TR DONE 8/30 SOUVENIR POST SOON

I just replyed and it just disappeared crazy! I have no clue wth happened! lol!
Your pics are great! also the photo Chris took with his cell was really great! :thumbsup2 Yay! for taking me thorugh til my vaca! I'm at 5 days now so it should go pretty fast! I'm glad my Cheerleading comments bring back good memories for you! :goodvibes Well let me tell you last night at Cheerleading it was a nightmare! I'm trying to get the kinks worked out before I leave for vaca! So we were teaching the stunt groups how to Cradle and my assistant had one group I had the other ! Well my group was done and good to go in like 10 mins . So I went over to see what was going on with her group and they were having a lil disagreement on what the front spot was suppose to do when the flyer was cradling! Well the way she taught I have no clue who taught her this but it was way off and basically the front spot was standing there waiting to get a foot in her face!:scared1: I was scared really scared! I can't even describe how I felt now I have stress on leaving her alone with my team while I'm away! So we taught them the right way they were happy and said it was much easier! She was stewing she was so mad! But her front spot was literally doing nothing! Then why have one? lol! She's suppose to help take the weight off and get the cradler off into the air etc... she swore she never ever did this before! So me being me I said UMMM did you ever cradle before when you were a cheerleader? or have your girls ever cradled? she said yes! I was like OHHH!! Umm ok!!!!!???????? I can see this not working with her! :confused:It scares me to think shes been coaching for 3 yrs and don't know this! My teenage team Managers were correcting her! They are all High School Cheerleaders we have 3!( and one is her DD):scared1::confused: Now I'm done rambling!

awe. So sorry about your sunglasses.

Glad you ate at the Plaza. Too bad your waitress was crummy. But did you like the fries? I think a lot of places at WDW have crappy frieds, but theirs is so good hehe

What are the chances of seeing someone who came into the supermarket when you worked there??? That's too weird!

I keep reading all this good reviews of The Plaza -- I want to eat there now!

The picture of you with the Minnie statue is adorable!

Hey hun! :goodvibesim here .. i need to get all caught up! ive been MIA for a good week or so.. SOOOOOOO Much is going on right now!! ahh!! Back to reading..popcorn::

Sounds like you had an interesting time at The Plaza! I really on the fence about a meal here in January. I'm thinking if it the best fries and the best ice cream, as i've heard, we may have try it!

Sorry you lost your sunglasses! I lost mine on the first day of our 06 trip! Shortly after I lost DD's key to the World Card :headache: LOL! I had to buy a pair of WDW sunglasses. I wasn't feeling them either but for me it was because they really didn't have any I really liked and I figured for the price I was going to pay I should be able to wear them at home too! I learned a valuable lesson though! I always pack an extra pair now!

Can't wait to hear about the rest of your night!

So when we last left off we had just finished hanging out in the hub, watching a little bit of Dream Along with Mickey. We decided now would be a good time to head back to Fantasyland since we hadn't been there yet. We walked along the side of the castle, by the wishing well that's over there and right as we were on the bridge, a firework went off for the end of Dream Along with Mickey and scared the crapppp out of everyone who was walking over there. Everyone was so shaken up but laughing. It was funny. LOL

Our first stop was one of my faaaaaavorite attractions in all of WDW, Philharmagic!! I loveeeee this show it's absolutely adorable and I nearly break into tears during it because it's really just one attraction that symbolizes Disney perfectly, to me at least.

We got in line, waited maybe 10 mins for the next show to begin and walked right in. I love how you're supposed to walk all the way to the end of the aisle, filling in all available seats and people still insist on stopping in the middle of the aisle and sitting down. I just climb over them, accidentally kicking their feet and hitting their knees...;) Of course we both LOVED the show. Chris really liked how you can smell the apple pie and Donald coming straight through the theater wall when its over. Great show and thinking of it is really making me miss WDW right now.

After Philharmagic we walked over into one of the shops over there, I think it was Sir Mickey's. All week I'd been fighting with myself over whether or not I should buy a WDW hoodie. They were almost all $50 or more and I just didn't know if I should spend that much on a sweatshirt. Well finally, on our last day I realized I wanted it and I was going to get it. I picked one I liked along with another smaller photo album that was on sale for $9 and bought them and had them sent to the front of the park since I couldn't have them sent back to the hotel being that we were leaving the following morning :( After some shopping we headed back over towards Peter Pan's Flight and Winnie the Pooh. Of course they both had huge lines in the sea of strollers that was Fantasyland at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon so we grabbed some FPs for Peter Pan and decided to just check back on Pooh later.

We walked over now towards Ariel's Grotto and sat down on a bench to decided what we wanted to do next. Sitting there, hot and tired Chris put his head down on the bench and honestly, I think he nodded off for a second. We had gotten so much done already in the MK, with the short lines and all, and I was pretty tired too. I knew what he was thinking so I asked him if he wanted to just head back to the room for a little while and relax/take a nap. It was our last day in Disney so I kinda shocked myself in doing this but it was needed. And it wasn't like we had a lot left to do. We had done pretty much everything we wanted to. Chris was totally all for going back to the room, as I expected. We were a little hungry so we went over to Mrs. Potts and got ice cream sundaes. Yummmm they were soooo good. The ice cream there is greatttt.

We walked back towards the entrance, down Main Street and ate our ice cream. We made it all the way to right in front of the train station when we were blocked in. The 3:00 parade was just beginning and we couldn't leave the park! :headache: We hadn't planned on staying and watching this parade but now we really had no choice! Since we were there I had to whip out the camera! Couldn't pass up a photo opp

Once the parade passed we were allowed out of the park. Back on the bus we went and to ASMo to take a nice nap and break from the sun. It was pretty hot out that day, 86 degrees I think. We laid down and slept until like 5:30 when we woke up, cleaned up and headed back down to the bus stop to go to the MK for the night!!

Up next:: our last night in the happiest place on earth!

Brooklynn loves the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It! parade. She dances like mad! Good pictures. Sorry the food wasn't the greatest. I guess it would have been a hassle to ask them to do the sandwiches again.

I can just picture that little cutie dancing up a storm during the parade. she has those dance moves no one can duplicate

I just ate the sandwich because you're right, it just wasn't worth it to ask them to remake it.

OMG I can't believe that your assistant coach was teaching the girls the wrong way to cradle! I was friends with a lot of cheerleaders in high school (I was a dancer and captain of kickline so we worked together a lot) and I know how dangerous stunting can be. My senior year we did a group dance at Pep Rally with the cheerleaders and the kickline and we mixed it up where some of the dancers did cheerleading stunts and some of the cheerleaders went into our kickline and did a little kick routine. I was a base for a stunt and I know that its hard and can be very bad if the girls are doing something wrong! I hope everything goes good while you're in WDW where you will be this time tomorrow!!

awe. So sorry about your sunglasses.

Glad you ate at the Plaza. Too bad your waitress was crummy. But did you like the fries? I think a lot of places at WDW have crappy frieds, but theirs is so good hehe

Yeah, losing my sunglasses stunk. We did like the Plaza, crummy waitress and all. We did like the fries but then again, we're not very picky LOL

What are the chances of seeing someone who came into the supermarket when you worked there??? That's too weird!

I keep reading all this good reviews of The Plaza -- I want to eat there now!

The picture of you with the Minnie statue is adorable!

It was totally crazy that we saw those people we knew! And to top it off, a few days after I wrote that update on here, Chris and I saw the mom and one of the daughters at the mall!! Weirddddd.

I would suggest trying the Plaza. Its a nice place to have a reasonably priced lunch. Glad you like the picture with the statue! I need to get some pictures with the rest of the statues now!

Hey hun! :goodvibesim here .. i need to get all caught up! ive been MIA for a good week or so.. SOOOOOOO Much is going on right now!! ahh!! Back to reading..popcorn::

Hey girl! Glad you're back. Whats going on with you? When do you start school?

Sounds like you had an interesting time at The Plaza! I really on the fence about a meal here in January. I'm thinking if it the best fries and the best ice cream, as i've heard, we may have try it!

The Plaza was good, I think you guys should try it for lunch. The ice cream you can get without having a ressie (you know that I'm sure) but the fries were really good as was the rest of the food. (except the burnt bread lol)

I was definitely annoyed at losing my sunglasses! Losing them on the first day would have been even worse! The WDW sunglasses were just not worth it for the price on the last day of our trip though. I'll hit up Marshalls again LOL Packing an extra pair is a good idea!!

i loved philharmagic too! this past trip was the first time i saw it and i loved it! espcially donald at the end haha, it is one of my favorites now..& i cant wait to hear about the rest of your night..at that point in my trip i was so sad i was leaving the next day it sucked =[

Yeah, losing my sunglasses stunk.

Those moves cannot be duplicated, that is for sure! It's a style all its own. I think we might have some video footage of it somewhere along the way on this trip, so you can see for yourself! :rotfl:

I lost sunglasses, too, at Cape May somewhere. I went back and looked for them, but I don't know where I lost them. Maybe in the waiting area out front, maybe inside the restaurant. I bought some, so sunglasses ended up being one of my Disney souvenirs this time!

I don't like it when the day comes that you can't tell them to send it to your room. :sad2:

Poor Chris. He hung in there. It was sweet of you to suggest the rest, and I'm sure that nap was good one!

Yesssss, I love Mickey's PhilharMagic! :goodvibes It gives me goosebumps every time. :goodvibes Hey, you go girl for stepping over people! I "accidently" step on their toes! :rotfl: Some people are so selfish!

Yay, you got ice cream from Mrs. Potts! We love eating there! :) It's one of our favorite things to do at MK at night.

This is the night that you sent me the pic of the Castle before you left. :sad1:

I'm so proud of you for leaving & taking a nap! It is so hard to admit when we need to give ourselves a break. I'm sure your evening was much better since you weren't totally worn out.

We have never eaten at the Plaza so it was nice to hear your opinions.

So I love how Chris is slowly turning into a Disney fan. That is adorable he texted you a pic of the Walt Statue. I'm slowly prepping my husband to go to Disney. we watched the movie "Walt" on Netflix. He thinks Walt Disney is the dude now.

That's smart that you went back home when you started to get tired. No need to push through the day and be miserable eh?

Philharmagic is sooooooooo awesome! I haven't been to Disney in like 4 years and that ride still sticks out to me as one of the best there!!

Do we get a picture of the hoodie that you bought? I would love to see it! :goodvibes

I don't blame you for heading back to the resort for a nap -- Disney can kick a person's tail, that's for sure! ;)

Theres a movie about Walt? Whats it like. I gotta find this one!

It's called Walt: The Man Behind the Myth. It was totally cool, it's narrated by Dick van **** and it shows pictures and early photos of Walt. I loved it!

I highly recommend this movie to everyone! I got mine copy after our Keys to the Kingdom guide recommended it. I got it from Amazon for like $13. Totally worth the price!

I believe, but I could be wrong, that is produced and directed by Roy Disney Jr.

I couldn't agree more!! PhilHarMagic is my very favorite thing at WDW!!

I LOVE Mrs. Potts! They have the best shakes ever!!! I hate that it isn't always open though! What's the deal with that? :confused3

Good for you for taking a break for a nap!

Can't wait to hear about your night in MK!

When we last left off Chris and I had just headed back to the room to take a nap and when we woke up, jumped on a bus to the MK. We got back there around 5:30-6 if my memory is serving me right. As we walked in to the MK I was of course, happy to be there but sad knowing that this was our final few hours in a Disney park and that at the same time the following day, I would be home in NY :( I have a fascination with these balloons
506.jpg

Sorry MeMom, I know how you feel about the balloons with Mickey inside them!

We were hungry for some dinner so I suggested a place that had been very highly regarded here on the DIS...Casey's!
507.jpg

Chris and I both got the same thing, a hot dog and fries and we got a large drink to share. (cheap-o's) I like Casey's 1) because the hotdogs are delish and 2) because of the great toppings bar they have for the dogs! Great choice for us for dinner. We had FPs from earlier for Peter Pan and BTMRR but first we headed to Snow White's Scary Adventures since the wait was minimal.

Chris makes sweet faces for me when I take pictures...LOL

Very cute ride, enjoyed it a lot :)

Next we went to Peter Pan...the wait was still like 50 mins. Now this is definitely an adorable ride but I can never picture myself waiting 50 mins or more for it! Sorry guys!
508.jpg

509.jpg

We walked through Fantasyland a little more now, just checking things out.
510.jpg

As close as Chris allowed either of us to get to It's a Small World...my PTR readers may remember this was the only ride he requested NOT to go on in WDW LOL
511.jpg

I figured now was a good a time as any to head over to use our BTMRR FPs...Cool shot of HM as we walked over
512.jpg

513.jpg

Can I just say that this 2nd ride on BTMRR was SOOOOOOO much better than the first?! Holy cow we had such a great time. The CMs at the loading station were SO much fun getting everyone all fired up to ride. Chris and I both agree it went faster the 2nd time around. idk if they were having troubles with it in the morning when we rode or what but it was totally faster at night. And then the fact of just riding it as the sun was going down made it so much cooler! We loved it!!

Sometime during all of this I realized I was starting to get a little chilly. Actually, now that I think of it it was definitely before we rode BTMRR. Since I had bought that hoodie earlier and it was at the front of the park, we decided to just go grab it now since I was getting cold and knew that the package pick up would probably be crazy at night. I'll post a picture of the hoodie in the souvenirs post when I'm all done with the TR.

So back to BTMRR. After we rode we knew it was about time to find a spot for Spectromagic. I really can't get over how much I love the themeing of Splash Mountain and think this night shot is cool
514.jpg

First we were going to sit down in Frontierland on an empty spot of sidewalk. We sat down and then realized what a terrible spot we would have for Wishes if we stayed there. So we decided to be bold and go for the hub to get a spot there to watch the parade and then just stay there for Wishes.
The castle lit up

Ok I have to stop here now but I'm almost done now! Just have to get through Spectro and Wishes and then the TR is over :(
