Our 2nd Trip to Disney! Did it Measure Up? (w/pics) **THE END**

I'm going the 21st. It's just me and my DS5. My DH isn't quite as in to the whole Disney thing as I am so I'm trying to use it to my advantage. I'm taking each of my kids to a special thing with just me. My DD7 and I are going to BBB and CRT. My DS3 and I are going to have an early breakfast at CP one morning and then ride Dumbo. This allows me to do more stuff, my DH to do less and my kids to get some rest. It's perfect.
I'll keep my eyes peeled for you at the P&PP

It's amazing how many families there are that have 3 boys in them. I think I need to start a support group for us moms!

I worked on my binder this afternoon, just as promised. My important items are now safely in a secure place. You can all rest easy now.

Here are some pictures (and hopefully, smaller sized!) of said binder:

The inside left pocket which holds the P & P tickets, the park tickets and as you can see, the Disney Dollars.

The inside right pocket which holds pens, highlighter, sharpie and post it notes (which I received FREE from the Freebie thread )

And here's a page inside which shows the little post its on top that help me manuever through the book (that's my favorite part! and they're colorful ).

Phew! I feel better now

Just a couple more quick pictures before I tear myself away from the computer for a while. Has anyone seen these cute huggable Mickeys? DS3 got one for Christmas (I bought it at Walmart).

Lastly, the other day we received these in the mail from the Disney Movie Club:

We've all seen Ratatouille (well, DH hasn't), but the boys haven't watched it since the theater so it'll be like new. I'm saving both of these for the drive down to Disney. It always helps to have new movies along for the ride

How do you all feel about change? Are you ok with it? Because I'm about to make some major changes and I don't want anyone to get upset or stop reading.

Here's the thing. I haven't been feeling this font. It's not working for me. The sad thing is, it's been bothering me for a while, but I haven't had the heart to change it. I kept thinking, "I can't change the font! It's like my signature or something! That's how my peeps KNOW me."

But, then I thought, y'all are strong people! You can handle change! Am I right?!

Let's give it a try. Are you ready? 1, 2, 3...........
















Voila! And there we are folks! That makes me feel much better. I feel more relaxed with this font. The other one just made me feel...I don't know. Just not good. This one brings with it calmness. Is it working for you? Can you still feel me? I sure hope so. Maybe one day I'll even go back and change the font in the rest of my PTR if it bothers me enough.

Now that we have that taken care of, let's move on to another topic.

I was thinking that since our trip is almost here (8 days!! well, just about 7 now ), it might be nice to take a look back at our 1st trip to Disney. I mean (I realized the other day while talking to DH that I say that phrase A LOT. I mean, like all the time. I mean, like I don't even realize I'm saying it.), this PTR is titled, "Our 2nd Trip to Disney! Will It Measure Up?!" How will you know if it measured up or not if you haven't seen very many pictures from the first trip? So, I'm going to share some pictures with you over the next few posts.

I tried to think of a way to do it that wouldn't just be random shots thrown at you. I noticed that a lot of my interesting pictures were taken at restaurants. Ding, ding, ding! You got it. I'll group them by restaurant. We'll go in order of when we ate the meals.

First up!

I just have some random pictures left that I want to share with you. I did have a few pictures from the Rainforest Cafe in DTD, but you've already seen a couple of them.

One of the things that I really wanted to do on this last trip was find DeVine at Animal Kingdom. And, let me tell ya. It wasn't easy! I kept looking at the times they mentioned, but she wasn't around. I even asked about her. So, around 1 p.m., we decided to get some ice cream and wait on the path she walks on. Finally, I spotted her! We got quite a few pictures of her, although none came out all that great. We only had my inexpensive digital with us. This time we're bringing the BIG BAD BOY along. My Canon EOS Rebel Digital SLR. It takes great pictures, but it's so big and bulky. I always end up banging into the kids' heads with it when I have it hanging around my neck.

Anyway...without further ado. Here's the amazing! The lovely! DeVine!

DS3 had a blast playing at Pooh's Playful Spot. That is until it was time to leave the area and he was soaked from the fountains! He wasn't too happy with being wet.

The last picture I have for you is a sign. It's on the path from SOG to the Polynesian. We walked this path a few times to take the monorail and bus. I'd read a few warnings on the boards about walking that path at night because people had seen alligators sleeping on the path

Anyway, this sign kind of cracked us up, while also scaring us a little. My dad ended up having my stepmother take a picture of him by it I should get that picture from them.

BTW, Sully just finished watching POTC At World's End. Can you believe I let him stay up until 10 p.m.?!!!! He came upstairs (he and Chuck were watching together) and said, "That movie blowed my brain!" You've got to love the boy's grammar. He thought it was awesome anyway. So, you know that means we're going to HAVE to wait in line to meet Jack Sparrow at the party.
