I just found your pre trip report! I read your trip report last year and that was how I found out about the pirate cruise! My ds and nephew did it on our trip in Dec. and had a blast! I have only read the first few pages and skipped ahead to read your reveal. I need to come back and see why you changed to AKL!! That is great about keeping it a surprise till Easter. We booked our trip for November right after coming back from our last trip. Both of our kids know and my three year old asks everyday when we are going back to Disney World. We still have seven and a half months of this!!!

Just like Susan, I had to scroll back to see if I could find any evidence of pack rats--and found none at all. No worries here. Like a little kid--I was more excited by the sign and the fantastic Easter baskets and they weren't even for me!

What a wonderful surprise--those boys are going to remember that forever. I'm so excited on their behalf! Not too much longer until you leave, my friend!

Well,the boys woke up and immediately asked if they could take a # off the countdown calendar! Then Eric starts in at breakfast, "I wish we could leave today to go to Disney" Then Matthew 1st thing he says after school "Can we go to Disney sooner?" Now I know why I waited to surprise them! The truth is I LOVE how excited they are and they have been asking LOTS of questions about how many times we will go to each park and where we are going to eat. Gotta love that Disney enthusiasm Thanks for checking in Susan!

I wanted to explain why the boys STILL don't know we are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge! Our best friends and their family have planned a Florida getaway for their family during spring break also! They will be overlapping with us at Disney for 2 days. Their kids know they are going to Disney but DON'T know that they are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. They are giving that to there son as his 1st holy communion present. So I promised my friend I wouldn't tell my kids either because she didn't want her son to start saying "That's not fair, how come Matthew and Eric can stay there and we can't" so I agreed to keep it a secret so she could surprise her boys too! My boys will find out on April 13th. That's when we know for sure the kids will not see each other again before our trip!

Hey Everyone!

Well now that the dust has settled from Easter we are moving on to Matthew's birthday! I can't believe my little man is going to be 8 His birthday is Saturday and we are having a Ratatouille/cooking themed party! He and his friends will go to the Young Chefs Academy and make their own pizza's and cupcakes! Should be alot of fun, he is really excited! Then on Sat. afternoon our families are coming over to help celebrate! I will be sure to post a mini report and pictures for all of you!

Well I still haven't decided between the Prime Time Cafe or Yak and Yeti BUT, I did call and was able to get a ressie at PTC at not to bad a time either 6:20 I was thrilled! I have started to purchase some essentials for the trip and have begun crossing some things of the list! I can't believe how close it is........
