Our 2nd Shot at the Dream Team -TONS OF PICS. 10/28 New PTR LINK

Well Bryan and I started discussing our dining plan choices and were intrigued about the deluxe dining plan. I called Disney to make a couple of additional ADR's like Brown Derby, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Narcoosee's and added Chef Mickey's. Well.................... like a true dingbat I did not realize that when you make 2 ADR's for the same meal one of them gets WIPED OUT Now mind you I made these new ADR's on Sat. and didn't realize my mistake until reading the boards today.

So, I called Disney dining back and was able to get all of my original ressies back except 1 Coral Reef. Our time was 4:50 but the only one they had available was 7:40 and that is just too late. I am so mad at myself. Anyway, I will research other dining options and come up with somewhere else to go

We decided that the Deluxe plan was way too much food after reading other reviews. Go figure! I think it's time for me to stop messin with my plans!

I'll get out my map of AK later to double check, but I think it was the road between Africa and Asia - the one that takes you to the Flights of Wonder Show, and she was much closer to Africa. Just make sure you ask what time she'll be out.

We have seen Lights,Motor,Action a couple of times and we enjoyed it but there are other things that we have never done that I would like to do first!

Well, you know I am not a big fan of Lights, Motor, Action. Too many stairs.

It sounds like you have some great things planned! Keeping my fingers crossed that Eric gets chosen for the Jedi Academy. It's working out nice that he meets the height requirements for the big rides now!

I guess from what I read some people will use a different phone # to make double ADR's, I never thought of that I guess maybe the CM at dining will spell the names a little differently too. Thanks for posting!

I used the same number and name (otherwise I would lose my mind- well what little I have left anyway ) Because you said something I called and confirmed all of my ADR's even with all of the moving things all of the ADR's were right - except the one of the ones for my daughter to go to Neverland club (and its the one I never touched!) they had set it for the wrong date, but lucky me everything worked out.

Hi Everyone!

I forgot to mention in my last update that I would love to see the Disney Animation attraction in DHS. I think this is the one where you can draw the characters I have always wanted to do this!

So as you all know our trip is a complete surprise for the boys. Bryan and I have almost slipped about a dozen times So I told him no Disney talk until after the boys are in bed! I have started to purchase some stuff for their baskets and wanted to share....

I found these journals at the Dollar Tree aren't they cute. They are cartoonish Pirates of the Caribbean. The stickers are from the Disney Movie Club that we never joined

I bought these pins at the Disney store they were on sale for like $4.50 each and according to the manager they are "official trading pins" I bought Pooh and Buzz because the boys aren't huge fans of either so when trading they won't feel bad giving them up

I love the little notebooks--those are really cool! And the trading pins? I'm imagining the boys looking at them and saying, "Umm, Mom? Why did you get us pins for characters we don't particularly like?"

Well it's OUR playroom Those notebooks were such a good find at a buck each! Thankfully the Easter Bunny is bringing the pins so if they complain I can say "that works out perfect for trading" see how I'm passing the bad pins off on the bunny
