We are due to go to Disneyland Paris for the first time ever on Wednesday. Staying in the Sequioa for 3 nights.
Just wanted to say that I have really enjoyed reading your threads in the past few weeks - and such wonderful pictures. Such great help to a first timer.
I just hope there are no more strikes (and we are flying Airfrance too!)
Getting very excited now, our little one doesn't know - is going to be told when we wake him that morning ... I hope the surprise lives up to his dreams, he's been talking about this constantly since he started school last year! He thinks I am saving to go next year, can't wait to see his face.

How lovely - a complete surprise for him!
You are going at the best time :cloud9: - enjoy every minute of it (I have no doubt you will).

Elaine

Thanks Elaine - your post have me totally excited now. I am going to print them out - sounds like the perfect day!

Hi and Welcome.

How old is your little one? You'll have a great time and Im sure the surprise will live up to his expectations.

He is turning 6 in January. So we will get to do all my favourite stuff from my childhood - the classics, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White - we read all these, movies etc. and he loves the magic. We love Fairies in our house! Cars & Buzz & Nemo are top of list also. But I think he will be too small even for some these.

I think he'll be tall enough for all the rides you've mentioned Jessiedog.

Personally, none of us liked the Snow White ride - and I wouldn't be able to drag my daughter on Pinocchio again if my life depended on it  ! These are both dark rides - lets just say, they don't dwell on the happy-ever-after side of the stories at all.

Hope you have a wonderful time and such a lovely surprise for your little boy.

We are going there next week too. We have a little of 3.5 and when we went last year we were able to take him on buzz and he was smaller then so you little boy will be fine for that ride. Cant help with cars or crush as these will be new to us too. All the other rides in fantasyland will be fine for your son. However, I have to agree with Elaine about the snow white ride, for a disney ride it was definately concentrating more on the scary witch than snow white and the dwarfs.

Have a lovely time
Lisa

we just got back from the sequia lodge yeasterday and it is looking very christmassy!!! the log fire was lit and it was oh so cosy... i hope you have a fantastic time, when we were checking in they offered us a good morning fantasyland breakfast (when i tried to book this before the trip i was told they weren't doing them anymore) so if you havent already booked one i would ask for this on check-in as i makes all the difference getting on the rides nice and early.

Hope you have a great time :wizard:

Mrs Stonfiesta - did you do the Fantasyland breakfast plus also eat breakfast in Sequoia? Just wondering if much difference in the breakfasts.
We have 3 mornings, I was thinking Fantasyland on Thurs or Fri as we want to go into Paris on one afternoon - the Saturday is early opening anyway.
Can we try it the first morning and then if we want book it again that evening with the hotel can we - or do we have to decide for all mornings on check-in?

toddlers were going on cars and buz lightyear ride when I was there last week... Crush Coaster has a height restriction.. my 4 year old was a tiny bit too short and he is short for his age too... so I am sure your 6 year old will make it :).... its a fast one though :)
