Our 1st trip as a family of three!----Update 11/3 Our Favorites/Trip Wrap-Up

Despite the injury, she still looks like she is having fun.
My niece and I posed in the big years for pictures and those things are HOT!!!

I will definitely have to try a cupcake on our next trip! Those all look so good!

I can't wait to enjoy the POP pool!

I am glad to hear the finger was fine in the morning! I can't wait to see how your day at AK went!

You have to try a cupcake! They have quite a dew varieties and it makes it so hard to decide. I LOVED it! But then again, I love cupcakes!

Now I'm even more bummed that we missed out on Starring Rolls - those cupcakes look sooooo good!

Isn't Beauty and the Beast great? I love all the costumes, so colorful and creative.

Sorry your DD hurt her finger, poor little thing!

I saw a post on the Disney Food blog about the cupcakes and told my hubby that I HAD to get a cupcake from Starring Rolls on our vacation. I had planned on trying more than one over the course of the trip, but totally forgot! The one I picked was delish!

I loved the B&B show! it was so vibrant and fun!

What wonderful pictures! I'm so sorry that your DD hurt her finger. :( I'm glad it didn't slow her down TOO much!!!

There were quite a few tears that night and a lot of guilt on my part, but as you can see, she bounces back fast!

Great pictures! That little one could be a model :cutie:
So sorry to hear she hurt her finger but I'm glad is wasn't too serious!

I keep hearing about how great the cupcakes are at Starring Rolls. We have to try that in August!

Aww, thanks! I think she's cute, but then again, I'm her mom! Hopefully between you and Caitlin, one of you will remember to stop by for a cupcake....or two!

YAY!! I'm so glad that you got to see the B&B show!! It's one of our favorites!! And that cupcake--YUM!! We ate at Starring Rolls for lunch and I had the Peanut Butter Chocolate cupcake--soooo good!!! :lovestruc Sorry to hear that Lily hurt her finger. Glad it wasn't anything too serious!! :goodvibes

I saw that cupcake in the display too, but I really wanted the white choclate one. I was drooling just waiting in line! I was hoping it wasn't going to melt on the way back to the room!

I really, really hope we get to see Beauty and the Beast in Sept. We're only doing 2 afternoon/evenings at DHS, so I hope we don't miss all the shows! Sorry to hear that you're little one hurt her finger. She seems to be ok in the pictures though! Don't you just love the pools at Pop?! They are so much fun!

Oh, you will love it! It's so much fun and it's just the perfect length! Everything at disney is just so much more fun! :rotfl:

I have never heard about the cupcakes, so I will add another thing to my list. They look fantastic! We have only been to Starring Rolls 1 time & it was right after the morning rush. There was barely anything left to buy. But of course we got.....a rice crispy treat. It was goooood!

We ate in Morrocco too and really enjoyed it. Some of the things were a little bland, but we will definitely be going back!

You know that if we ever meet, I am totally bringing you a rice crispy treat! We actually ended up eating at Morocco twice, mostly because the plates are so big and you can totally split it. I think we just wanted something other than chicken fingers and fries.

Yesss...I love the Beauty and the Beast show! :cloud9: I know the whole thing by heart now.

Wow, those cupcakes look good!

Aw poor girl..even though you said it wasn't too bad, it's not fun getting hurt.

Those cupcakes were good! :cloud9: you had to put the cupcake in the container on it's side because it doesn't fit otherwise! Too much shaved chocolate on the top!

Despite the injury, she still looks like she is having fun.
My niece and I posed in the big years for pictures and those things are HOT!!!

I think we got lucky because it was morning so it wasn't too hot yet. She had tried to get in them before, but said it was "too hot" when she felt it.

We just got our photopass cd in the mail so I thought I would post some of the photos from the first day and a half.

Here is our first night at MK! Love the feeling of arriving in Florida and being in front of the castle within hours!

We couldn’t take too many since the Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Parade was coming down the street.

Here we are at DHS in the morning before our Hollywood and Vine breakfast.

While it may look like our little munchkin has her hand in a pocket, I think it’s actually in her pants…….:confused3

Here she is waiting in line to meet her first character!

ry%3D400

I think I actually didn’t post this because I don’t have a copy on my regular camera. We got a chance to meet :eeyore: while daddy ran to get the TSM fastpasses that morning.

Again, her hand was in her pants. :confused3 I don’t know what’s up with that.

This is one of my fave shots of her. It’s when she’s hugging Annie.

And the last scene is when she got to meet Goofy and pluto:. You can probably sense that the theme of this trip is character meet and greets!

I hope this TR doesn’t get too monotonous with all of the character pics, but that really was the focus of our trip. Like I said, all plans went out the window early on in the trip. We just did what we felt like and followed our little one’s cues.

What a fun trip report-seeing Disney through the eyes of a child. :)

I've got to sub in on this one! Thanks for sharing your trip with the DIS.

LOVE the PP pics!! I can't wait to get started on mine!! And I just love the closeup of her!! Precious!! :goodvibes

Love the pics of the family. I loved when my little one was 2 adorable but can be tiring. Oh yes at that age it is all about the characters...loved it! I too will have to try a cupcake at starring rolls, always forget when I am there and a Dole Whip, still have not had one yet..

Great photopass pictures! :) I think it's great you just went with what made her happy rather than sticking to "a plan"! :goodvibes

Jumping onboard! Your daughter is adorable, and I love that you are just going with the flow of what interests her! :goodvibes

:)Enjoying your TR and your family is beautiful! When you are traveling with wee ones it is wonderful when you can just take the time and watch their faces. Thanks for sharing.

Your photopass pics are beautiful! I don't mind all the character pics at all....they are so cute! Madison is 7 and still wants to meet every character we come across!

Hi there! I just found your TR and I'm really enjoying it so far! :goodvibes Your DD is absolutely adorable! I can't wait to hear more about your trip!

My favorite is the one of her hugging Annie. So precious. She looks like she had a wonderful time & quickly got over any fears of the characters!

I laughed when I read your comment about the rice crispy treats. :rotfl: I think the problem is that I really don't like chocolate, so most things do not appeal to me when I am in the mode of needing something sweet. That is usually why Todd & I don't share sweets because he LOVES things with chocolate. I know, I'm weird. :confused3

Those cupcakes looks so delicious. I must get one next time!

Looks like a fun afternoon at Pop! Where do you get the lifevests? My kids can't swim, so I'm thinking that would be a good idea!

DS got injured and we paid a visit to first aid in Epcot last time as well. Twice. Not fun! Glad your little one was okay though!

Cute picture in the 1950's sign!

It was fun to experience Disney through her eyes. But I have to admit, I do turn into a little child myself when I am there! Thanks for reading along!

Thank you! I'm sure you got some fabulous shots with your pretty gals.

I think we had a few Dole Whips on our trip as my hubby loves them. I happen to love cupcakes in general, so it was a must do for me! She still talks about the characters and how she forgot Aladdin and Jasmine.

Great photopass pictures! :) I think it's great you just went with what made her happy rather than sticking to "a plan"! :goodvibes

Much easier all around. It just felt more relaxed that way. It was also easier to do since we had just been in August, so we didn't feel a bit push to see major attractions. Although, I did have to make sure I got in a ride on space mountain!

Jumping onboard! Your daughter is adorable, and I love that you are just going with the flow of what interests her! :goodvibes

Hi and welcome! :goodvibes Thank you! Going wiht the flow definitely makes it easier with a toddler!

:)Enjoying your TR and your family is beautiful! When you are traveling with wee ones it is wonderful when you can just take the time and watch their faces. Thanks for sharing.

I can't even tell you how many times I had tears in my eyes or a stupid grin on my face because I was watching her reactions. Thanks for reading!

umm, I would still want to meet all the characters even if I didn't have a toddler! :rotfl:

I love most things dessert related! I guess that means you didn't try the chocolate dipped rice crispie treats! Which ended up being the best way to "bribe" her into eating real food. Especially if there were sprinkles - she's a sucker for mickey head sprinkles.

Those cupcakes looks so delicious. I must get one next time!

I love cupcakes in general so of course, those were a must have! The life vests are provided by the resort and I think are at all of the disney pools. There was a big bin with all different sized life vests right next to the pool. Otherwise, I've also seen some at Target. Awww, sorry to hear about your DS getting injured. Our only complaint with first aid, was why is it so far away? :confused3 I think we were at Morocco and had to walk all the way to Mexico - which can be tiring if you are carrying a crying toddler. :sad1:

HI!! I am so excited to join in! I am all caught up now :goodvibes

You have a beautiful family!! Your little one is just adorable.

I love you matching outfits! I like to match my kids as well :lovestruc I am also so happy that you posted about Starring Rolls! We are stopping there in December during our trip. I have heard GREAT things about the white chocolate cupcake and the peanut butter chocolate AND the butterfinger one! So, we are going to get them all and have tastes of them. Are they one snack credit? We will be eating lunch there...wonder if they are a dessert?

Looks like your DD really enjoyed her Playhouse Disney lunch! I agree..always think the kids will be scared of JoJo, but none of them seem bothered :confused3

Can't wait to read more popcorn::

Joining in! Your daughter is adorable!! Sounds like a great trip so far. So cute at Play n dine. Looks like your little one was having the time of her life there. My two were never fond of the characters when they were little. In fact, they were the exact opposite of your DD! Your PP pics came out amazing. I absolutely love the close up of her hugging Annie!:lovestruc So precious.

I have to say it was hard to decide between the regular chocolate cupcake or the white chocolate cupcake. I'm sure I would have been happy either way! They are one snack credit - can you believe it! I thought they would be too big for a snack credit. I don't know if they count as a dessert for aa CS though. :confused3 I hope to have an update up tomorrow. Apparently I have to go to work today. :confused3

Our last trip was totally different in August. She was so scared of the characters, so this was a perfect trip for me! She really was having a fantastic time and couldn't wait to go to "Disney World" every morning! Oh and :welcome:

Just started reading along, love the pictures.
We are so excited about leaving tomorrow I had to come to the board to calm down!
I love the Meet & Greet theme, if i went alone that would be my choice too!

WOW! One snack credit is a great deal. My DH and I could split that for sure :thumbsup2 I am going to post the link to the Starring Rolls reveiw on my PTR soon. I will let you know when I do!

Hi, I'm joining in, your daughter is soooo cute! :) Gotta go get caught up!
