Our 1st trip as a family of three!----Update 11/3 Our Favorites/Trip Wrap-Up

Your DD has good taste I also love Donald Duck!

I love how excited she looks watching the parade!

Looks like everyone is having fun! I love Toontown and will be sad to see it go!

Can't wait to hear how the rest of the day went!

Those pictures are precious! You're making me even MORE excited to go in September with my little one. She'll be 2 when we go. This will be her 4th time going, but the experiences change so much as she grows! :goodvibes Love your TR so far.

OMG your little one is so cute! We almost always fly jetblue even B.C. (before child :lmao:) now with our girl it just makes it so much easier. Boston is about 30 mins further than T.F. Green for us but it is well worth it, love the t.v.

The comments about Max & Ruby are hysterical..but so true. Still, I think current all time weird show that my 4 y.o. princess old likes/loves is Yo Gabba Gabba..I can't...just out there but they have some good guests on it. Just weird but maybe from a child's perspective it is different:confused3

We are heading back to Disney this September...can't wait!! :rotfl:

I used to fly Jet Blue all the time too before DD, mostly because it was the cheapest flight back then! I love the tv too!

I am so with you on the Yo Gabba Gabba. I have only seen a few snippets of it but find it so wierd! I try to steer my little girl away from that show too! :rotfl:

Pretty good start for your first trip report!
I love that picture of your little one with new new BFF!
Joining in and can't wait for the next update!

Hi and thanks for reading along! OMG - she loved Annie! She brought her everywhere!

Hi Caitlin! She loved the parades. We caught it quite a few times. I'll be sad to see Toontown go too. I wonder if they will keep Mickey and Minnie's houses somewhere?

This trip was completely different than our trip in August. In August she liked the rides and was freaked by characters. This trip was the complete opposite! You are going to have such a fun trip! I can't wait to take her back!

Great start! I hope that toontown is still there in September, it looks like fun!

Not good that she got scared on pirates! I'm afraid we'll do the same sort of thing and scare DS...although he's pretty tough.

Oh my, Annie. I had no idea that they sold Little Einsteins stuff in the parks. DS LOVES little einsteins!

Can't wait to hear more.

I love IASW, too!! It was Claire's favorite ride last time and it had me in tears the last time we rode it last May!! :lovestruc Claire was just so happy riding that ride!! Your pics are just adorable!! I love all the ones from Toontown! I'm going to be sure and take a lot since we don't know how long it will remain open.

I didn't know they sold Little Einsteins stuff in the parks either! If your DS loves them, you should totally try to book the Hollywood and Vine character meal. We did that our first full day in the parks and she LOVED it. I hear they are switching out JoJo and Goliath for Handy Manny. I'll be posting about it soon, hopefully next update. I just have to work all weekend (nights) so it'll probably be Monday before I can get one up.

She loved Toontown. She wanted to play there everyday. And still asks for it! :rotfl:

Subbin(:
Your DD is adorable!
Sounds like a great trip so far

Thanks! It was a fun trip, hot but fun! I think it helped that we didn't plan out every minute, just went with the flow.

Oh, I so wish we could be there at the same time because I'm sure Claire and Lily would get along! You must be having so much fun right now! I am loving your updates via FB and can't wait to read you TR when you get back!

I just love the reaction when she took out her little glasses to make sure it was real :rotfl: so adorable

I'm here (finally!)!!! Your daughter is just too cute! She looks like she was having a great time. Can't wait to read more! :goodvibes

Oh, and as for M&R, I think I had that theme song in my head for two years straight...I'm kinda glad she's outta that phase! :lmao:

Hi! Sorry I've been so MIA lately! :flower3:

Loved the update! Those are such cute pics of your girl holding up her sunglasses to see without them. :cutie: Seeing her reaction made me so excited to see my little guy's reactions to everything.

I am curious to see if he likes/dislikes PoTC. pirate:

OMG, I completely forgot about Donald's boat! Hopefully it will still be open when we're there! That would be a great way for him to cool down.

Hey there! I finally noticed the link in your siggy for your TR!

You're off to a great start, your DD is absolutely adorable, looking at all of your pics of her enjoying MK just made me smile :goodvibes I actually got to ride IASW this trip - usually my boys adamantly refuse to ride, but since they weren't there, they couldn't stop me!

I have not been keeping up with the whole Fantasyland update, so I had no idea that they are getting rid of Toontown. Will that be forever, or just during the refurb? Dylan really liked that play area with the slides. I remember that the slides were not fast at all....he had to scootch his butt down the slide over & over. Is it still that way?

I loved taking Dylan on IASW. He was so overwhelmed by everything that he just had a look of awe on his face. I agree with you...not annoying at all.

Can't wait to read more!

Hi and thanks for reading along! I hope to have an update soon.

I just love the reaction when she took out her little glasses to make sure it was real :rotfl: so adorable

I loved watching her reactions throughout the whole trip. Sigh, she's such a little diva with her glasses all the time!

Hi! Glad you could make it. I've been keeping up with your TR too! Wow, I didn't know M&R has been around that long. OMG - she had such a good time! She keeps asking to go back.

I think she was scared of PoTC pirate: this time around because she is more aware of things now.

Donald's boat was a fantastic way to cool down and she had a blast running around. We got some great video footage of her screaming and playing there.

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I am almost all caught up on your TR. I always feel like I need to ride IASW when I go. With or without kids in the group! :rotfl:

I have not been keeping up with the whole Fantasyland update, so I had no idea that they are getting rid of Toontown. Will that be forever, or just during the refurb? Dylan really liked that play area with the slides. I remember that the slides were not fast at all....he had to scootch his butt down the slide over & over. Is it still that way?

I don't know when Toontown will officilly be gone, I think by the end of the year? :confused3 It's sad since it's so cute and Lily loves it there. You're right, the slides were not very fast. She had to keep scooting herself down. She had the same reactions on IASW - just staring at everything. Loved it!

By the time we were done with riding in the Pooh’s “hunny” pots, the sun was starting to set outside. Since we were already in Fantasyland, we decided to walk over to Dumbo and see what the wait was like and whether or not our little munchkin would want to take a ride on the flying elephant. She had been telling us she wanted to go on Dumbo and “fly low, not too high” so we were hoping we’d finally get her to ride it.

Um, negative. Once she saw the elephants up in the air, she changed her mind. Of course, we weren’t surprised, but never fear. Things weren’t at a total loss. We still got a picture of her with Dumbo.:thumbsup2

This was more her speed. A stationary Dumbo. Do you see how happy she is?:goodvibes

ry%3D400

We would not have gotten the same reaction if we had forced her onto the flying ones. Needless to say, it doesn’t look like we have to worry about her turning into a thrill seeker!

Since we didn’t have to wait in line for Dumbo, we headed over to Tomorrowland to ride another one of my faves……..

ry%3D400

The people mover (aka the Tomorrowland Transit Authority). I absolutely love this “ride.” I was so bummed when we came in August and it was down. So needless to say, I needed to get my fix in early! You can tell our little princess is still a bit apprehensive about what we were doing. She was either clutching my arm or her daddy’s arm, who ever she happened to be sitting next to. I loved seeing the park all lit up at night. Sigh. I really could ride that for quite a few loops and be perfectly conent.:cloud9:

As I mentioned earlier, we didn’t really have our activities mapped out, but one thing we did want to do that evening was catch Spectromagic. It’s been a few years since I’ve seen it and my hubby has never seen it. We came across a great spot in Frontierland and just plopped ourselves down and waited for the show to start.

While we were waiting, I ran into Columbia Harbor House and grabbed us a meal to eat. We weren’t starving, so we ended up sharing a fish and chicken platter with fries and an apple tart. Not bad. Our little munchkin devoured the fish, which were pretty tasty. Soon enough, the parade was making its way down the street.

She was so excited to see Mickey again! She pretty much just waved at every float as it passed by. It was the cutest thing!

We tried to grab a few photos, but I think our little point and shoot doesn’t do the parade justice at all.

We all loved it and it was the perfect way to end our first day at Disney!

Your DD looks adorable in the Dumbo :cutie:

I am also a fan of the TTA it's a great way to relax after a long day in the park!

I am glad everyone enjoyed Spectromagic I haven't seen it in a while and sort of miss it!

Can't wait to hear about the rest of your Disney adventures!

Looks like a great ending to your Magic Kingdom day! The Dumbo pictures are so cute and I agree with the Munchkin that Dumbo is much more fun sitting still on the ground

I love the TTA too, but I am soooo not a fan of the new spiel - I miss all the fun little lines from the old one!

Aw! She looks so cute sitting in the stationary Dumbo! :cutie: At least you don't ever have to worry about riding RnRC with her anytime soon! :)

She looks like she was having a blast at Spectro. I love the pic of her waving.
