Day 7- Our last full day at WDW.
Disney Quest and ending with Wishes. (Also, the worst couple of hours of our whole trip) Forecast- 71, few sprinkles in the AM.
Today is March 17th, St. Patricks Day!

So, of course we all had our green on. We did have an ADR for Bomas at 9:00, but we just didnt feel like waking up early our last day, we just wanted to have a fun relaxing day.
So, we slept in till 8:00. Well, that is sleeping in for us. Ha ha. Cliff and I decided that we wanted to try waffle house. We had seen a few while we were driving around, and thought we would give it a try. There were a lot of people dressed in green we noticed, so we fit right in.
I, of course had to get the waffle, and it was SO good. Oh, yum! I cant wait to try it again. Cliff and the kids had the typical breakfast.
Today we were going to Disney Quest (DQ), we had never been there before. The kids were excited to be playing video games and interactive rides without having to put in any money. They thought that was the coolest thing ever. Little did they know we paid plenty for our tickets, its not like DQ is free, children.
Disney Quest didnt open till 11:00, and we got to Downtown Disney (DTD) by 10:00, so we walked around and took some pictures.

We got to DQ about 10:45, and the line was all the way around the corner. We didnt know it would have been that busy already. But, the line went fast and we were in by 11:00.
We went straight for the Jungle cruise interactive ride, we all got in a boat and had to paddle our way down the river. It was pretty cool. WE then got in line for Pirates of the Carribean. It was a long line, and there are no fast passes in Disney Quest. We probably waited about 30 minutes, but had fun talking to another lady in line.
We finally got on POTC virtual ride. The four of us got on a boat and we each had our own canon to fight off the bad guys. We had a gadget on our head, so the ride was in 3D, it was so cool. We loved it, we would have done it again, but the line was even longer now.
We played some other games and then went to do Alladins Magic Carpet ride. That was another 3D type of adventure. We each were on our own magic carpet, and had to grab jewels and try to find the magic lamp. This was fun, but it did get me a bit queasy by the time we were done.
We went to the 3rd floor where they have arcade games and some classic type of games. It was SO loud in there, and very crowded. I was not feeling the fun at all. Plus, I was still a bit queasy from the ride. So, Cliff and the kids played the games and I went in search of some peace. Found a great place on the 4th floor. The Wonderland Café. Perfect! I got some popcorn and a sprite and sat down on a comfortable chair and chilled.
When they were done, they found me in my quiet spot and ate my popcorn and drank my sprite. After they sanitized their dirty hands, of course. We sat there for a few minutes, and I started looking for my camera to take some pictures. I looked in my shoulder bag. All 4 pockets. I looked in my jean pockets. I looked in my jacket pocket. I have been so good keeping track of my camera and phone, so I wouldnt lose them. I am so careful with that kind of stuff.
So, finally I said I cant find my camera. I knew Cliff would go into panic mode right away, so thats why I had to be sure it was lost before I told him. So, of course he asked if I looked in all the places I just made sure to check before I said anything. Yes, I looked everywhere!
So, we went back to ALL the places we had just been. The jungle cruise, Alladin, POTC, the loud 3rd floor. The whole time I am still looking in all my pockets, hoping and praying it would magically appear.
We were told to go to lost and found, which is up front where you buy your tickets. So, we went to the front, holding our breath the whole time and asked if a camera was turned in. The lady behind the window asked what it looked like and what brand it was. She left for a few seconds, that seemed like forever. She came back, NO. She did not find it. Ugh, my heart sank. She said to check back in an hour or two, in case someone turned it in. And, gave us a card for WDW main lost and found.
All areas of WDW turn in any lost items to the central lost and found every night, so she told us to call the next morning after 9:00AM to see if it could be there.
We were all very quiet as we walked away from Disney Quest. We decided to take the boat across DTD to go to Earl of Sandwich. While we waited for the boat we didnt say a word. I could tell from Cliffs face how upset he was, too.
And, Im sure they could see from my face how upset I was. While we waited for the boat Megan gave me a hug, and said she was sorry that I had lost my camera. I was all choked up. We got on the boat, and I really felt like crying. I started thinking of all the great pictures I had on my camera. And, decided that I wasnt even going to do my trip report anymore without my pictures.
