My jaw is really bothering me today. Had to get the fillings yesterday and, as expected, I needed about 10 shots of their numbing stuff (dentist told me it's no longer novicane but some other stuff) in order to get both top and bottom done, and now I can't open my jaw enough to eat much (I've got the BEST mom -- made me spaghetti last night -- both a comfort food, something easy to fit into a mouth that won't open much, and easy to chew. That was lunch today too). It's not really that I have a problem, I'm just super sore from the shots and fillings, and my teeth are still sensitive.

I'd ask for some cheese to go with my whine, but can't get my jaw open enough to eat it.

I can relate to your pain. I have alot of teeth problems and usually have more pain from them poking around the gum line, giving alot of shots etc. Motrin usually helps.

Ouch, sweetie. I hate jaw pain. I hope it goes away soon so you can eat something besides spaghetti

Pooh -- no kidding. This is at least 10 times worse than the cavities were causing. At least this is (should be... BETTER be) temporary, though.

Kath -- at least I love spaghetti, especially when it's my mom's. Some friends of mine and I are going to grab dinner at Black Eyed Pea tonight then go see X2 again, so that'll be good. Hopefully.

JTB -- I just wish I didn't have to work today. I really want to go home and sleep away the afternoon.

Tony -- LOL! That's exactly what I plan to try tonight at dinner -- I LOVE Black Eyed Pea's chocolate shakes.

Black Eyed Pea was my daddy's favorite. After he had his stroke they would puree all their foods for him! He couldn't speak well but when you drove by he would say "pea pea pea" Hope you feel better soon, when I go to the dentists I'm always sore from the shots and from them pulling my mouth all over the place
