ok i just got braces and they are killing me! what do i do? is there a certain type of pain killer that workss better? thanks!

I usually just take ibuprofin (sp?) Braces suck but they only hurt for a couple days after each tightening.

I had braces once upon a time...kill...but they only hurt for a bit after everytime you got to get them adjusted and tightned! Well worth it though!
Just keep with it and youll be happy after it all!

Asprin. And they will be fine after the first week. I have them and they dont hurt I just hate them

yes IBprofin works well. eat lots of soup and yogurt, liquidy stuff.

I got mine off in Feb. but I would always use Ibyprophen...Also before your next app. take 2 or whatever before you go that way it kicks in by the time you get them tightened! I used to do that and it usually worked!
