OUCH! Will 2004 rates really be this high??

I just booked our ressies for 1/2004 with a CRO CM (Evelynda--very nice!) and can't believe the price jump from 2003 rates!

AKL Concierge went from 425 to 480 (+ tax) and the same is true for BWI Concierge (425 to 480 + tax) per night.

That's 13% higher-yikes!

I still made the ressies but am re-thinking if that is how much the rates will go up.

Anyone have some words of wisdom to calm me down?

Anyone else booking for 2004?

When WDW books rooms in years in which the rates are released yet, 2004 rates are not out yet, they book the room at current year regular rates. You will be traveling during value season, so unless rates jump 13%, and historically they've only gone up 4 - 5 %, you should be o.k. YOur rate will be adjusted once the 2004 rates are released, I believe they were released in September of last year.

And don't forget to check for codes. We got a great rate at the GF last Jan. I would think that discounts will be available next year too.

shelly3girls-thanks as well. I'll be getting an AP and hoping for some great AP rates when they are released.

Now if only that countdown wasn't so long away!
