Ouch! I have blisters!

Hey WISHer's
I need a little help. I'm breaking in my new pair of sneakers (which at this point I may not take on my next trip) and I have blisters on both inside heels.

Any advice on how to avoid them in the future and how to take care of the ones I got? I tried the blister blocks from Bandaid but they really didn't help.

I'd appreciate any help.

If you go to a place that has a decent first aid aisle- or a really good sporting goods store they should have a product there that is like a gel pad to put on blisters. They work wonderfully. Also- to avoid them in the future. If you wear 2 pairs of socks- the rubbing will not be between your sock and the shoe, but between the second sock and the shoe. They sell a special kind of sock like this too. They're like a 2 ply sock- helps with the feet perspiring too. Several years ago I went to a spa in ST.George Utah and spent a month there. That's all I did the whole time I was there- went walking. I learned all those tricks there. Also- wear those new shoes in slowly.

Do you know what those second socks were called? (or a brand name?) We have a Dick's Sporting Goods here so I can check out there.
