Ouch ESTA's Pending !!

Just did all our ESTA's online and all of them have gone through as Pending !!!
Guess I'll play a waiting game now , better not tell the wife she may not be amused !

Quite a lot go through as pending. All of ours did. I logged out and then logged straight back in and they were already approved.

We did our 2 as a group so that we could just make a single payment. They came back as pending.

When I checked a couple of hours later they were approved.

(I don't know if grouping them slows down the approval but I am suspicious that it does.)

Same here, did them as a group and it said pending, logged out then back in and all were approved.

Funny you say that about grouping.. Done then before separately no issues, 1st time done group and pending maybe it's that ?

I travelled to the US for the first time last year, and I insisted we apply for our ESTAs in April (for our August trip) because I was so worried about being refused entry! My husband thought I was a bit paranoid!

I did mine a while ago and got pending, kept logging back in and still pending, it took a very nervous 36 hours but they did go to approved.

I have spoken to someone in the US who deals with them and was told the delay is usually to do with common names and number of vowels. So don't worry too much.

Quite a common occurence, particularly if there are a large number being applied for at the same time.
