First of all, I'm not complaining. I knew flights in December would be pricey but I guess I just didn't know how much until my little fingers were on the keys today:scared1:normally we flew in June/July for base price $79 on Allegient. For December that base price stood at $189 and $200+ (can't remember exactly) for our dates. I'm just SO HAPPY :worship:we were able to book flights giving us a full week in WDW right before Christmas. The fees are a bit much, though....so many extra little dings for everything :sad2:Oh well, such is life :thumbsup2See ya in the World for Christmas 2011;)

I feel your pain. I had really gotten use to the $69 and $79 one way fares with Southwest from Philadelphia when I go to WDW in Dec.
This year, when I first booked my flights $89was the cheapest and that was for the crummiest flights. When I booked the fights down and back that I wanted were $115 each way, the flight to MCO then went down to $89, so I did get a credit for that fight. Today those same flights are $163 and and $215.
I did have a $100 gift card so it made the cost a bit easier to swallow, but it still hurts.

I was happy to get 10% off my JetBlue flights that were originally $320 round trip each (granted I had points and credits that brought the cost down even more), but it always amazes me when I see people post these incredibly low prices.
