OTUP question

I've searched the threads but haven't quite found the answer. I have two contracts: August UY and April UY. My April is depleted for 2019 and 2020. My August has 8 points in 2019 and 100 in 2020. I need to make a reservation for 9 nights, 134 points for March 2020. One of those nights (14 pts) is not available, the rest are. Can I do this:

* Call member services to reserve the 8 available nights with the 108 points from August UY plus 12 OTUP purchase
* Call back member services to book a 14 point room (anytime, anywhere) with my depleted April UY and buy all 14 points using OTUPs
* Hang up, go online, cancel the 14-point night, get the OTUP in my account, waitlist the last night (it's not available right now)

Yes, you can do that. Just remember that if that last night becomes available, it needs to be linked to your 8 night reservation so you won’t have to move rooms since it will be in a different membership.

Be sure to also remind the front desk when you check in.
